This episode is all about Booth and I was OK with that, as we finally get to meet Momma Booth. Joanna Cassidy is our guest star and Booth handles the situation perfectly as we like her, hate her and like her all over again. She shows up at his office and he is happy to see her but not quite as much as I thought he would be.
Booth insists on Mom staying with them at the house and they enjoy a good dinner and talk, until Bones kind of ruins the mood. But all in all we learn that they withstood some beatings and tough times with a drunk of a father. She had to leave.
Sweets makes a good point: Booth works for the FBI and has tons of resources at his disposal, why didn’t he look for her? Booth was not convincing to me when he said he waited for her to be ready and come find him. It was when Mom decides to tell Booth that she is getting married and wants him to give her away that the mood changes. We learn she has been with the man for quite some time and has been a mother to his two kids. Well let me tell you, Booth blew a gasket and I don’t blame him one bit! While she abandoned her two boys, she is playing mom to two other children. Booth feels betrayed as he and Jared needed their mom. By the way…where is Jared?
Later, mom asks that he understand that she is finally happy and she is not sorry for that. She just wanted him to be part of her new life. He doesn’t say anything but you can see he understands her part of the argument, but he still has his part of the argument tugging at him. For me; it still doesn’t make it ok that she never got in touch all these years.
In the end, Booth decides to go to his moms wedding and she is pleasantly surprised. He walks her down the aisle and everyone enjoys the celebration. It is good to see Booth happy again and happy for his mom. Bones catches the bouquet! Uh oh…is she next?
Funniest moment of the night: Hodgins pretending to strip for Angela as Cam comes around the corner and quickly turns on a heel and hurries away.

My favorite part of the episode was when Brennan caught the bouquet and the looks B&B gave each other!!

My favorite part was how strong and in-tune Booth & Brennan are and what a strong couple they make. You are much more forgiving than I am of mama, Booth may have forgiven, but he has not forgotten, stay tuned, it will come back to haunt her.
