So, I guess it’s not always sunny in Philly after all. Batten down the hatches and stock your bunkers, there’s a hurricane a’comin’! We open on Mac (eating donuts), Charlie and Dennis watching the weather report on television. They are having a very intelligent debate on the weather girl’s breasts. Let’s just say she’s really endowed with ample cleavage. Then they switch over to the Spanish station and she’s got big boobs as well. Frank and the boys all think that the whole storm thing is media created hype, but Dee starts to panic and says it’s time to get into the bunker.

They have a bunker? Did you know they had a bunker? Yes, they built it for Y2K, which indeed WAS media created hype. Unfortunately, the bunker is no empty because Dennis has been having sex there and Mac has eaten most of the food. So Mac, Charlie and Dennis head for the store for supplies. It just happens to be the same store that the weather girl is reporting…

Charlie thinks this could all be “end of days”, but Dennis think he’s dumb. Mac just wants to hit higher ground and head to the Poconos. Dennis decides it would be a good idea to invite women back to the bar. So he sets out to find all the women in the store. Back at the bar, Frank and Dee are having a debate about looting versus surviving. After Katrina, it was surviving. After Rodney King, it was looting. Frank has himself on video stealing a loaf of bread and some skis. Too oddly funny. Then the power goes out and Dee freaks out. They check it out and find what they think is a looter in the basement. Frank shoots the dude in the hand and it turns out to be Cricket! He was just going to hide out in the bunker. Much to Dee’s chagrin, Frank insists they take Cricket to the hospital.

Dennis and Charlie realize that Mac has abandoned them at the store and assume he’s headed to the Poconos with their cash. Now all they have is Frank’s credit card. Charlie is now dressed in a whole lot of fishing gear and is carrying a hatchet. Of course, he helps chase away the women that Dennis has invited back to the bar. Actually, it seems they had boyfriends and Dennis felt betrayed, so he wrote up a contract for women to sign saying that they had to do what he said and they can’t have boyfriends. Then they come across the weather girl and Dennis thinks he’s in love. Unfortunately, he comes on like the world’s biggest creeper and she pushes him away. Then she gets a call that the storm isn’t going to hit Philly after all. It’s just going to be a drizzle. They tell her to spin it and make it a story.

Frank gets a call from Charlie that Mac abandoned them and Dee refused to take Cricket to the hospital before she picked up the boys. So she takes a u-turn and rushes to the store. She and Frank run into the store just as it is announced that the credit card machines are down. Of course. The gang doesn’t have any cash. They start to panic and don’t know what to do. But they’re saved by the Cricket. He drives Frank’s car into the side of the store and our gang uses it as a chance to start a riot. The weather girl reports the riot with a huge smile on her face…and cut to Mac watching the whole thing on a brand new 3D TV that he bought in the bunker eating Ben and Jerry’s.

I really thought this episode was heads AND tails above last week’s show. It’s hard to get across the panic that they were going through on here, but it was very funny and over exaggerated. It’s what made the show so funny. That and Mac always eating, which never gets old for me. There is always someone eating all the time in every episode, it seems. I also thought that the little twist of Mac not being in the Poconos, but back at the bar, was pretty amusing as well. Overall, I give the episode a B+. What did you think? What did you think was the funniest part? Please leave your TwoCents below and let me know! Thanks for reading and I’ll see you next week for more!
