Last week, Barney and Robin went from not dating at all to being engaged. Kind of extreme, yes, but romance has always been a bit crazy on this show. Still, it means there are going to be some issues to deal with for all involved.

Marvin won’t sleep, and Lily and Marshall are both going crazy. That won’t stop Lily from helping to plan Robin’s wedding. What might stop her, though, is the fact that Ted has taken over wedding planning duties, much to her dismay.

The Good Wife
Je Ne Sais What?

Has there ever been a more deliciously quirky and well-played character as Carrie Preston’s Elsbeth Tascioni on The Good Wife? I’d have to think really hard to come up with one and frankly, that would be too much work.

Let’s just enjoy her scatterbrained genius while we can. And it seems that everyone at the firm feels the same way because when Elsbeth calls Alicia to say she’s been arrested and needs Alicia to cover on a contract enforcement suit, Alicia does. And so do Will, Diane and Kalinda.

Brian’s Play

It’s opening night at the local theater for “A Passing Fancy”, by Brian Griffin and the whole family has turned out to see it. Peter regales them with his high school theater experience – pooping in the pot as the plant in “Little Shop of Horrors” – before they all head in to sit down and watch. Brian is understandably nervous.

And Mayor West is his usual weird self – claiming his seat to take it home with him – just before the curtain rises…

It’s graduation day at Georgetown University and Roger, also known as Twill Ongenbone, is getting his Masters in Archeology. Only it’s a sham. All of his credits were transfers from a fake university. Of course they were. Roger’s never actually earned an award in his entire life – and Stan is quick to point that out.

Even his Oscar actually belonged to Cuba Gooding, Jr. Roger just bought it on eBay.

Happy Endings
Kickball 2: The Kickening

Original Air Date: Jan 13, 2013

Dennis – Senior Reviewer

Last night’s episode was originally produced for the second season and wasn’t aired last season because of scheduling conflicts. There are some noticeable differences in this episode, mainly the fact that Penny is single and looking for someone. Nonetheless, I’m glad ABC has finally decided to air this.

In this “lost” episode, Alex asks the gang to sign up for a kickball tournament to promote her store. Later, Alex finds out Jane is playing on an opposing team, pitting sister against sister. Meanwhile, Dave has the “yips” and is in fear of having an embarrassing incident occur. Read on for the recap!

Another week and just another ordinary day in the Hamptons and just another day of sabotage. There’s a lot going on as multiple people have plans for some revenge and sabatoge of their own. But even the best plans go awry and it seems one might be in danger.

We start two days into the future with Aiden and a gun and a pool of blood around someone with a double infinity tattoo on their wrist. So what happened? Cut to two days earlier.

How will the beast keep his humanity when facing the man that stole his wife? Will the beast lose the little compassion he’s gained? Can true love save the beast? Let’s see, shall we?

In pre-curse Fairytale, Belle is talked into joining a hunt for the Yaoguai – a lion-ish monster with mane of fire terrorizing villages in a far off land – by Dreamy, now known as Grumpy. Dreamy gives Belle some fairy dust as a sendoff gift for talking him into eloping (bad advice).

Last week we were hit with the revelation that Dr. Hammerback had cancer, but there’s little evidence of that in this week’s episode and that’s by design. Only Jo knows he’s ill, and Hammerback is determined to carry on his work as normal.

Work this episode is the case of an off-duty cop and family man, Mark Riley, who got jumped whilst closing up at the check cashing store. Riley was able to get off a couple of shots though, and one of them catches Anthony Lombardo through the shoulder. Lombardo insists he’s innocent, but eye witnesses can’t even place him at the scene, the CCTV showing 3 African American bald men!
