My Favorite Television Memory Of All Time: When I was little, my family used to all sit down together to watch Cosby Show. It was one of the only TV shows my parents actually liked. Also, I have great memories of waking up at 2am and 3am to watch the 2002 World Cup games with my brothers.

Bio: I’m the youngest in a big family. I have an embarrassing love of made-for-TV movies, and obsession with Goldfish (the snack, not the animal), I’m learning banjo and I can quote every episode of Saved by the Bell.

My Favorite Television Memory Of All Time: I remember being give special permission to stay up late and watch Jaws when it premiered on TV in 1979 – the last thing I remembered of the movie was “Stay Tuned for the Conclusion of Jaws” – I woke back up about 10 minutes into the 11pm news.

Bio:I grew up in New Jersey in the 70s and 80s so I was around for some really exciting times for TV. I got my own television when I was 9 and it was always playing, whether I was watching it or not, especially once we got cable and I discovered MTV – when it still played videos. I moved to Virginia, then North Carolina for college where I graduated from NC State with a degree in English. My intention was to write for Rolling Stone someday. Instead I continued working in retail until I happened upon my career as a paralegal, which is what I’ve been doing ever since. I love the idea of finally getting to write about the entertainment industry like I’ve always wanted. It makes me think that even after all these years, I might still make that early goal…..

My Favorite Television Memory Of All Time: Watching Grace Under Fire, Full House, and Roseanne when I was a latch-key kid in elementary school. Those shows were definitely an escape for me back then and I still enjoy the reruns in the middle of the night.

Bio: I am a 22-year-old entertainment junkie faced with the reality of finding a job and making a living with an English Degree. Writing and Literature have always been my love; unfortunately, that doesn’t always easily translate into real world professions and job skills. My Favorite Television Memory Of All Time: Watching Charles Gibson announce Obama as the next president. I shed a tear. The first time I voted for a presidential candidate that actually won (‘cause it’s all about me at the end, right?).

Bio: I work in an office by day and watch too much TV at night. I don’t like to wake up in the morning and hate going to sleep at night. A condition that is perfect for TV watching. I have a BS in Biochemistry and a BA in Economics – nothing to do with writing but I love TV and I am literate. I love to travel and eat exotic foods (Scorpion in Beijing? Check. Bulls Testicle at home? Double check!!). My goal in life is simple but I have yet to achieve it, control-freak that I am, “Just relax!!”

My Favorite Television Memory Of All Time: I remember when I was younger, all the neighborhood kids used to gather around the television on Friday nights and watch Dukes of Hazzard. I used to always root for Roscoe, because I tend to favor the underdogs. Coo, coo, coo!! It was always so much fun. Then they moved it to 9PM and we couldn’t stay up late to all watch it together, so we would sleep over at each other’s houses. A close second is the premiere of Michael Jackson’s Thriller video in 1984. I was in sixth grade and it was history!!

Bio:I was born and raised in South Central PA and still live close to my hometown. I love it here! I love my kitties, my nephews and my friends, not necessarily in that order! I am a bonified TV addict! I have been since the 80’s and I see no signs of stopping anytime soon!! I also have a large collection of movies and TV series on DVD for those rare times when I am not watching something on one of my two DVR’s, my computer, my iPhone or my portable DVD player. Television is such a great escape from my problems and the world around me and it provides such a great opportunity to discuss favorite shows with your friends. When I’m not watching TV, I am doing crossword puzzles, playing games on my phone or working on school. It’s a busy life, but I wouldn’t change a thing!

My Favorite Television Memory Of All Time: Wow, this one’s hard. Tim Tebow’s 80 yard touchdown pass on the first play of overtime during the Bronco’s AFC Wild Card game against the Pittsburgh Steelers was pretty crazy. As for scripted tv, I’m a fan of Andy Bernard from The Office and was highly amused when he put his acapella groupmates on conference call speakerphone in order for them to sing “Take a Chance on Me” in an attempt to win a date with Angela. Andy and Erin are a cuter couple, and I liked the fax machine antic, but the acapella singing was more memorable.

Bio: I am one of the few law school grads on this planet that can stand lawyer-based TV shows. I actually kind of like them. I am a classic “little boy lost” and am trying to find myself. In my former life, I was a low-level attorney for a few years after passing the bar. You know when people say mega-corporations have armies of attorneys? That was me! In the grand scheme of things, I was a corporal, maybe a sergeant in said army. I was a frontline supervisor of roughly a dozen or so other attorneys. We never went to court, stared at computer screens all day. A thrill a minute. I still do the lawyer thing from time to time. Pays the bills, ya know? In addition to being a law geek, I am also a scifi geek. A double threat! I have no athletic prowess whatsoever but I love skiing (on snowblades) and I hope to own a sailing yacht one day. Hahaha.

My Favorite Television Memory Of All Time: When I started to think about my favorite moment while watching television, only one thing came to mind, and it happened on May 16, 2008 at about 10:15am local time…and that’s when Ellen announced that she was getting married, finally, to Portia. I remember sitting there, crying with excitement, and whenever I feel like getting happy again, I watch her announce to the world that she’s finally able to express her love like everyone else. It’s true happiness, and it makes me truly happy.

Bio: I was born and raised in a suburb of Detroit, Michigan. I’m a student at Wayne State University getting a major in History and a minor in Hebrew. I plan to move to Israel one day to pursue a career in Jewish Studies and American Tours of the Country. I love television, especially shows that can either make me laugh out loud or cry hysterically. I’m madly in love with Neil Patrick Harris, and have a life-long goal to turn him straight so I can have him all to myself. I have a DVR in my bedroom, but the two shows I refuse to tape and watch later are How I Met Your Mother and Desperate Housewives, unless I have no other choice. I watch those shows so often, that my cats have become familiar with the theme songs and will come running into my room when they hear it to watch the shows with me.

I’m thrilled to be writing about How I Met Your Mother, which in my mind, is the smartest show on television. In the 4 years I’ve been watching, I’ve only noticed ONE mistake made by the writers, which is amazing. I hope you’re as excited as I am to discuss the show! There’s nothing I love more than talking about things I love with others that love it too.
