Top 3 Favorite Shows Currently On TV: Bones, Castle, Glee

Top 3 Favorite Shows of All Time: Firefly, X-Files, Lost

My Favorite Television Memory Of All Time: That would have to be sitting down on Sunday nights to watch The X-Files at 9pm with my brother. It was the first series I ever followed seriously. And what a series to follow! After Mulder and Scully TV watching was never the same again, in a good way!

Bio: I grew up between Baltimore Md and Vermont , going back and forth several times for many years until settling in Pennsylvania for the past three years with my brother and our mother. I am an aspiring writer, a voracious reader and an avid TV watcher and movie-goer. I am a big fan of the quirky dramas with good chemistry between partners, like on Bones and Castle. I loved CSI when Grissom was on and like a little of the fantasy and sci-fi like Lost, Angel, Moonlight, Firefly, Smallville and Legend of the Seeker. I love TV when it takes me some place new, exciting and fantastic, which is why i like it! Give me a new world to escape to and share with others.

Top 3 Favorite Shows Currently On TV: Modern Family, The GLEE Project, The Daily Show

Top 3 Favorite Shows of All Time: The Simpsons, LOST, All in the Family

My Favorite Television Memory Of All Time: Early Simpsons-mania. Back when seeing Bart’s nekkid yellow posterior was controversial, and when the glory of selling out reached its peak, I was a kid who quoted all the lines and was thrilled to own a Bart Simpson Ohio State t-shirt from JC Penney.

Bio: Originally from Lima, Ohio. Yep, the city in GLEE is real – it’s just the portrayal that isn’t! You won’t find a Lima Heights Adjacent (it’s either Elida or Bath), McKinley High School (it’s either Lima Senior or Lima Central Catholic), or easy access to Slushies (I think the closest 7-11 is in Findlay).

Other than that, I used to perform improv comedy and have shared a stage with a couple SNL folks – although I could never hold a candle to their talent. But I know what makes good scenes, so hopefully that will translate to the written word.

I’m also married to a pretty, wonderful and pretty wonderful lady who keeps me up to speed on all shows that are worth my time. Although I get a little concerned when too many episodes of Hoarders start piling up on the DVR…

Top 3 Favorite Shows Currently On TV: Family Guy, Gossip Girl, Cities of the Underworld

Top 3 Favorite Shows of All Time: Pushing Daisies, Family Guy, I Love Lucy

My Favorite Television Memory Of All Time: When I was still very young, my grandfather got really sick and was diagnosed with cancer. His last few months, we kept him at home with us so he could be with his family. I was five and the biggest Papa’s girl in the world. Every day, I would climb into his bed and sit next to him and we would eat applesauce and watch “I Love Lucy.” My grandfather is the person I most respect and regard as what it means to be a good person.

Bio: I’m currently an anthropology major at the University of Tennessee studying to be either a museum curator or a bioarchaeologist; it varies depending on which day you talk to me. I’m a desk assistant at the apartment building I live in. I cherish my alone time, but my friends and family are really important to me. I’ll always hold a special place in my heart for Pushing Daisies, because besides being a brilliant show that’s tied for my favorite, it helped me meet the love of my life. I also have a large collection of post-it notes and would lose my head if it wasn’t attached.

Top 3 Favorite Shows of All Time: Sports Night, Spaced, Criminal Minds

My Favorite Television Memory Of All Time: My first television obsession came in the form of reruns on Nick at Night when I was very young. They used to show the first five years of Saturday Night Live, and I fell in love with classic SNL. Gilda Radner was my absolute childhood idol and I wanted to grow up and be her best friend, perform on the show with her, and generally rock the comedy world as a team. Never happened, of course, but I’ll never forget how happy she and the early days of SNL made me.

jd

Bio: I’m Jennifer Decker (JD around here), an author of various and sundry, a scriptwriter and novelist (sadly unproduced and unpublished–or as I like to think of it, pre-produced and pre-published), a starving artist, and a wanna-be college student with a sad lack of financial aid. But none of that really matters because I’m currently living my life’s dream of working in the service industry for as little pay as I could manage to work out.

A native Californian living (or trapped, depending on my mood) in Tennessee, I’m married, with two crazy mutts and an aging, fat-as-can-be, three-legged cat who thinks he’s king of my home. I’m a stand-up comedy geek, an occasional artist, a wanna-be rock star with no musical talent, a recovering ellipsis addict, and last, but certainly not least, a card-carrying member of the terminally uncool.

My Favorite Television Memory Of All Time: The one that comes to mind happened when I was in high school (dating myself here). I remember my three sisters and myself all gathered around the television to watch the final episode of MASH.

Bio: I grew up in New York, on Long Island. I still live there with my husband. I work in education and write for fun. I am a recent convert to the DVR and it’s about the only way I watch TV these days. I love science programs and science fiction. I am also a CSI addict and love true crime shows.

My Favorite Television Memory Of All Time: When my son was around 18 months old he loved Thomas the Tank Engine on PBS so much that when the ending song would begin playing he would break down into inconsolable tears. It’s such a precious memory of how much our friends in the TV can mean to us, even from a young age.

Bio: I’m a wife and mother of two precious little ones. Not only am I an incurable TV addict I also have a rabid addiction to the Netflix streaming feature! I pride myself on my very eclectic pallet for entertainment, and am just as content geeking-out to Dr. Who as I am screaming at Nascar or crying with Grey’s Anatomy. I love a good story!

Top 3 Favorite Shows of All Time: Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Lost, The Incredible Hulk

My Favorite Television Memory Of All Time: I watched Dallas as a child. I remember the death of Bobby Ewing being the most gut-wrenching thing I had ever witnessed. That was the first time I ever cried over a fictional character. He was the cornerstone of not only the Ewing family but the entire show. The show was never the same after Bobby’s death.

Bio: I’m currently living in Michigan although I hope to relocate out west to Washington very soon. I am married and the mom of three boys Elijah (11), Justin (7) and Bryce (2) . My household is very chaotic and noisy but I love it. I enjoy reading, watching make-up and natural haircare tutorials on Youtube, traveling, photography, swimming and spending time with my family. I’m currently working to “let go” of my Lost obsession. It’s not going well. I also secretly watch the reality show L.A. Ink. I love the artistic expression of tattoos but I will never get one. I’m currently a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist and I love it.
