Don’t ever let your roommates mess with your TiVo, kids. Also? Who just had a Buffy flashback reading that title? Don’t worry, it’s nothing like that. It is, however, a jaw-dropping ending that will make you be counting down the minutes until next Wednesday.

Harper’s Island – Character Bios

photo: cbs

photo: cbs

Now that Harper’s Island will be here on April 9, I just thought that I would share with you the characters and a little bit of information about each of them. I hope that you will watch on Thursday’s at 10:00 pm on CBS and then possibly leave some comments when the recap is posted.

MADISON ALLEN – “The Flower Girl” (played by Cassandra Sawtell)
Madison Allen is Shea and Richard’s daughter. She’s cute, sweet and, at times, horribly spooky. Lots of kids enjoy mischief; Madison might enjoy it a little too much. She has a tendency to say things that indicate she has a better idea about what’s happening on Harper’s Island than the adults do. She knows something they don’t… something bad.

Saying Goodbye To ER

KP – TwoCents Editor-in-Chief

There are those moments you saw on TV that become engraved on your memory. For me those include sights of the Seinfeld gang on the stand, the Friends leaving their keys on the kitchen counter, the Soprano family sitting in the diner and the infamous black screen of death, Cliff and Claire Huxtable dancing through their living room and out of the set and by the audience, Jim finally telling Pam that he loves her, and others.

Now, ER hasn’t had its defining moment of a finale yet, I’m sure there will be something tonight. However, the scene that’s stuck in my head from the show is one that has been shared by a few previously on this site.

Trust Me

Tom R. – Sr. Staff Writer

You used to hear, over and over, “There’s nothing good on TV.” Between the final chapter of The Shield, the male breast cancer storyline on Nip/Tuck and the rebound of 24, it’s been a banner year for examples that blow that statement out of the water. Add this finale to that list. Not only do the writers tie up every one of the myriad of loose ends, they even throw in some new twists that even I didn’t see coming.

Lost
Whatever Happened Happened

Original Airdate: April 1st, 2009

Laura Kelley, Associate Staff Writer
laurakelley@thetwocentscorp.com

Lost finally stepped up its game a little bit this week, with a surprisingly good Kate-centric episode, and I never thought anything with lots of Kate could be good. Jin, after being karate-chopped by Sayid, wakes up in the jungle because he hears his walkie talkie, and sees that Little Ben has just been shot. He loads him up in the Dharma van, and drives back to see that everyone is preparing for the hostiles to invade. Somehow, Ben’s dad just noticed his kid was missing, and wins the Britney Spears Best Parent Ever trophy from me. Not really, but that would have been an awesome twist.
