Everybody has needs… apparently ‘dolls’ have needs too. Paul wakes up from a confusing and strange dream. He was dreaming that Caroline showed up at his door telling him that he has something that she needs and how she has something that he needs. And that they should help each other.

Some Criminal Minds Writers Not Returning for Season Five

photo: cbs

photo: cbs

This week in the Criminal Minds world, we have lost some of our own. Letters of goodbye are slowly trickling out over at Criminal Minds Fanatic Blog, informing us that some of our beloved writers will not be returning to the show for season five. Some are citing budget cutbacks, while others simply state that they are moving on.

Holly Harold, Jay Beattie and Dan Dworkin are the most recent to make the announcement. Before them, we heard from Deb Fisher (Natural Born Killer, Birthright, et al.) and Andrew Wilder (L.D.S.K., Elephant’s Memory, et al.), who have both been long time fan favorites and with the show since season one.

To the writers we’ve loved and lost, you will be greatly missed. Thanks for the good times.

…Or maybe I should say gruesome times. Either way, thanks. We wish you the best in whatever life brings you next.

CSI
Mascara

It’s a rough day at Lucha Libre, and not just for the fighters. A young woman is weaving drunkenly through the crowds at the side of the ring, and she doesn’t look very happy about being intoxicated. In fact, she looks just a bit nervous. She stumbles out of the arena and onto the street, trying to hail a cab or an ambulance, but no one stops for her. She’s on her own… or is she? It seems that a masked luchador is in pursuit, and it isn’t too long before he catches up to her and kills her.

Seriously, how many Hidden Immunity Idols are there? Don’t be fooled, like one of the castaways was in this episode. It makes for great television, but someone is going to look a fool. Actually… you know what? I’m OK with that.

Eleventh Hour
Medea

Original Air Date: Apr 2, 2009

Nicola – Associate Staff Writer
nicola@thetwocentscorp.com

It seems that Jacob is quite impressive. Impressive enough to be at FBI Deputy Director Ray Wynne’s house, in a tux, getting ready to go out and give a speech. Or he was going to give a speech, until shots are fired from the upper floor of Wynne’s house, where his wife is. Holding her hostage is Sophia Lyons, a lab tech who used to work for Wynne until she was put in a state mental institution. She claims that Wynne stole her baby, that she was having an affair with him, got pregnant, and then he took the baby to hush her up, claiming that she actually lost it and it was the child of an ex-boyfriend who left her suddenly. Rachel manages to subdue Sophia before anyone gets hurt, and they send her back to the state institution. Not before she shows Jacob an implant that she supposedly pulled out of her arm that day.

ER
Finale Recap – Top 10 List

Original Air Date: April 2, 2009

Jeff L – Sr. Staff Writer
jeffl@thetwocentscorp.com

Top ten highlights from the E.R. series finale:

10. Dr. Benton’s son Reese is grown up and doing fine. As many will recall, Reese was born prematurely and is deaf. Benton at first had difficulty dealing with the fact that his son was deaf and looked into surgery to restore his ability to hear.

9. Even in the sad final episode they find time for humor. A projectile vomiting patient, a penile fracture, a man using industrial caulk as Viagra. This has always been a staple of County General and it was nice to see they didn’t forget it in the final episode.

8. Dr. Gates’ 16 year old alcohol poisoning case. Based on Shelby Lyn Allen, the real life ex-neice of “E.R.” executive producer John Wells who died from alcohol poisoning. Wells was so moved by the story that he wanted to include it in the series final episode.

This week, the contestants have to prepare dishes and then decide together, which one dish will represent the whole team. Oh, yes, it’s full of conflict and controversy. Andrea’s dish is sent forward for the red team and Carol quickly expresses that if she leaves the piece of crab shell on the plate, Gordon will rip it apart. Andrea doesn’t listen to her and guess what? Gordon rips it apart. In fact, he hates the entire dish. On the blue side, Ben’s dish doesn’t fare much better so Gordon picks Paula and Danny to be the new representatives. Both dishes go over well but he can only pick one.
