I really like being right. And I called way back at the beginning of the season that we were going to see brother against brother. The tag line “ Who is the real Monster” pretty much says it all. Sam may have demon blood in him, but the way Dean treated Sam was horrible.

Michael turns the old Michael Scott Paper Company office into a disco and Jim and Pam decide to elope. Dwight is a magical back healer and Phyllis gets her shirt torn off. If that isn’t enough to intrigue you for tonight’s episode, then you are a person who is hard to please and I just can’t be bothered with you.

TwoCents and Five Questions With…

Alan Tudyk

Alan Tudyk

…Alan Tudyk, Actor

For most people who know Alan Tudyk, it is because of Firefly… Joss Whedon’s Sci-Fi Western that was gone from the scene far too soon. In fact, if you’re like me, you screamed at the movie screen when Wash was killed by Reavers, but that’s another post. Well, Whedon has resurrected Wash, or at least the guy that played him, for the role of Alpha, a rogue Doll who is slightly slash-happy, on FOX’s Dollhouse.

I had the chance to chat with Alan (whose other credits include such varied projects as A Knight’s Tale, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Death at a Funeral, and the upcoming V: The Series) about this new role which is a departure from his usual good-fun-loving-guy fare. Also, I have a little crush on Alan so I gave him more than five questions… sue me.

TheTwoCents: Can you tell us a little about how you came to be involved with Dollhouse in the role of Alpha?

30 Rock
Mamma Mia

Original Air Date: May 8, 2009

Laura Kelley, Associate Staff Writer
laurakelley@thetwocentscorp.com

Despite the fact that in the Donaghy family, Easter egg hunts often turn into knife fights, Jack still wants to find out who his real father is. Liz tries to convince him that seeking out his father is a good idea because in the Sims, kids without dads end up peeing themselves. It’s true, and don’t ask me how many times I’ve found that out.

CSI – Recap & Review – Hog Heaven

CSI
Hog Heaven

Original Air Date: May 7, 2009

Nicola – Associate Staff Writer
nicola@thetwocentscorp.com

Oh, that kind of hog. Suddenly the title makes more sense as a bunch of motorcycles pull up at a bar. And here I thought this would be about swine flu. Things turn ugly when one biker spills a bar over the pool table where another biker is playing. Suddenly there’s a huge fight… and then an exodus as police sirens sound in the distance. The cops collar them all before they can get away. Evidently someone inside the bar called when the fight got out of hand. Ray and Brass go into the bar and find David checking the body, which is apparently very fresh. He has multiple stab wounds, but no one claims to know anything.

Hell’s Kitchen
Finale Part 1

Original Air Date: May 7, 2009

Kara – Senior Staff Writer
kara@thetwocentscorp.com

It’s time for the finale! Well, part one anyway. The final two, Danny and Paula, each get half of Hell’s Kitchen and have to design their own restaurants. Gordon instructs them to work on their menus and designs that night as the next day will be a busy one but both chefs decide to stay up late and drink a lot of champagne. The 6:30am wake up comes far too soon and Danny’s hurting from all the champagne hours before. Neither did any work on their menus or restaurants.

Scrubs – Recap & Review – My Finale

Scrubs
My Finale

Original Air Date: May 6, 2009

Rachel – Sr. Managing Editor
rachel@thetwocentscorp.com

In the season finale of Scrubs (is it the series finale as well?), JD is leaving Sacred Heart… and no one cares. Well, let me re-phrase that: Dr. Cox is angry at him, Elliot is secretly moving in with him, and Turk can’t hug him anymore. It takes a patient who might possibly have a terminal disease to help JD see things as they really are. “Once you learn that info, you can’t unlearn it. Right now, the future is mine… it can be whatever I want it to be.” So JD moves on, future wide open, and hopefully some of his fantasies will come true.

Criminal Minds
Roadkill

Original Air Date: May 6, 2009

Angelique – Associate Staff Writer
angelique@thetwocentscorp.com

Yes, you are right I am not your usual ‘Criminal Minds’ reviewer but you might know me from ‘NCIS’ or ‘Dollhouse’. I love crime shows and Criminal Minds is one of my favorites. Even though I am not your regular reviewer I hope that you will nevertheless enjoy reading my review this week.

The episode starts with a man who is standing at the top of a cliff watching the woods beneath him while he smokes a cigarette. He is obviously troubled by something.
