You truly know you’re unpopular in high school when a girl with two broken arms gets picked in gym over you, and you get hit in the head with a dodgeball twice – while on the sidelines. Even so, Jerri’s still determined to scratch her way to even the middle of the totem pole. In this episode, she decides to run for Homecoming Queen. While this doesn’t sound like the best plan, Jerri figures she’s got a shot, since out on the streets she made a living off just her looks (and a donkey named Ramone).

We enter in on some sort of high security vault, with plenty of flashing lights and stainless steel. And then come the high-tech cat burglars, intent on breaking in. They disable the motion detectors and make to break in through the vault door. It’s all very Mission: Impossible/Ocean’s Eleven. Back up a bit and it’s all a drill, a practice before the performance. There are going to be no problems except for the alarm system, which their tech guy says might be a problem since he doesn’t have the manual. The “brains” of the operation had it sent by courier. And it hasn’t shown up yet. Good move.

Guest Star: Christina Applegate
Season 2, Episode 15

Valeria – Senior Reviewer

Kenny Weckerle is back! Remember the kid that OD’d in the locker room in the first episode? Well, he’s a bit older, apparently out of rehab, and still mad at the world. The “mad at the world” part is just an inference on my part, as he’s gone from Band Geek to rebel with tight pants and black boots and leather jackets and instead of listening to class lectures he reads magazines while rocking out to his Walkman.  Kenny gets called out of class because his sister’s been in a terrible car accident and had to be rushed to the hospital.

Neil Patrick Harris, star of the CBS comedy “How I Met Your Mother,” will host the 61st PRIMETIME EMMY® AWARDS, to be broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles Sunday, Sept. 20 (8:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. Harris will also serve as a producer for the broadcast.

“After having had such a hoot hosting the Tonys, I was thrilled to get the call about the Primetime Emmys,” said Harris. “I’m looking forward to the challenge of the show — adding my own voice to it, while honoring the nominees and the entire year in television. But which voice to choose? I’m torn between gangsta, foppish Brit, and robot. Really proud of my robot. We’ll see what happens on the night.”
