The four radio plays in between have helped us whet our appetite but if you’re like me, you’ve been waiting with bated breath for the new season of BBC America’s top-rated import. Wait no more, as tonight begins a controversial five-night mini-season that will change the franchise forever.

Avalon does exist after all! W00t! But if you’re expecting to see it, don’t get too excited; we get as far as the lake but no farther. And we go there because Arthur winds up taking a nice long soak with all his chain mail on. Oh, Arthur.

True Blood
Never Let Me Go

Original Air Date: July 12, 2009

Andi – Senior Reviewer
andi@thetwocents.com

A few things happen on this week’s True Blood. No, I’m not being ironic; a few things happen. Eric reveals that Godric is his maker and has a flashback, Super Sexy Spiritual Sarah feels up Jason, Daphne is a shifter, and Lorena shows up right at the end. And the best part? There wasn’t even a single orgy! Ah, but what filled the other forty minutes, you ask? Not much.

Spaced
Ends

Season 1, Episode 7 (Season Finale)

JD – Associate Staff Writer
jd@thetwocentscorp.com

Getting to the end of season one in only seven episodes always makes me a little sad, especially given that season two isn’t any longer. I always wish there was more of this show, but it’s long gone now. This is a pretty strong season finale, though, as they go. It really shows a lot of growth between the characters.

There are so many things going on in the lives of these women it is sometimes hard enough to remember who they are dating. Especially if you watch one episode and then skip a couple so you can write your next review.

Stars Preview Their Sophomore Season

Brittany Frederick – Associate Staff Writer
brittanyw@thetwocentscorp.com

TNT’s caper drama Leverage was the best new show of this past television season, with its intelligent writing, crackling chemistry among its cast, and exciting action. It proved so popular that the cable network brought it back for an early second season less than four months after its explosive first-season finale. I had the opportunity to speak with two of the show’s stars, Timothy Hutton (Nathan Ford) and Christian Kane (Eliot Spencer) about the show, their characters, and a few other interesting topics…

Battlestar Galactica – Summer DVD Review – A Day In The Life

Battlestar Galactica
A Day in the Life

#4 (Top 10 Happiest Episodes)
Season 3, Episode 15

Brittany – Associate Staff Writer
Brittany@thetwocentscorp.com

While Battlestar Galactica had mostly stellar episodes, some, as is the case for ‘A Day in the Life’ were completely off the mark. It was as if you could see what the writers wanted to do by giving us all a glimpse at the wife Bill Adama had divorced prior to the attacks. But then it went way off the mark and all I can do is applaud Edward James Olmos for not throwing the script back and calling it a piece of crap. As such, I haven’t picked this episode for the top five moments or even the soul crushing ones. No, this is a totally indulgent moment.
