It’s a new season of Psych and Shawn Spencer is back to his usual antics – trying to get out of an art assignment for school in the opening flashback, and trying to catch an international art thief in the present. All it seems to get him is a lesson from Henry that there is no such thing as a perfect crime, and a rejection from Chief Vick when he tries to get an advance on his next case.

Battlestar Galactica
Unfinished Business

#1 (Top 10 Happiest Episodes)
Season 3, Episode 9

Brittany – Staff Writer

Well, we’ve done it everyone. We have made it to the happiest episode of Battlestar Galactica there is. Before we get into it, I wanted to take the time to say it’s been great going back and writing about some of the episodes. I’ve missed the show a lot since March, but hey – The Plan (directed by Edward James Olmos himself) will be coming to us in November. So it seems the story isn’t over just yet.

The L Word
Losing the Light

Season 3, Episode 10

Angelique – Associate Staff Writer

This is the hardest episode I have ever seen, it is emotionally so draining that even after all this time I am still dreading watching this particular episode.  Strange because I know that it is not real, but the episode is so well acted that even I can’t keep the tears away.

And if I am choosing to review the best episodes of the L word in my opinion, I should include this one because it is as far as acting goes the best episode ever.  And the credits for the best acted episode goes mostly to Erin Daniels and Leisha Hailey.

This week is about a corrupt investment banker under house arrest. But most importantly, Sophie has a boyfriend! Except he thinks her name is Catherine and he’s dumping her. Aw.

Anyway, back to the false investment firm and the guy running off with twenty million dollars. At least, he was until he was caught in his apartment, and Nate is convinced that the missing money is also still in the apartment. The problem is that so are the FBI, as he’s under house arrest. They deduce the best way to get him out of the house is through his kid, so…they go to steal a school. Fun times. I would love to get up and just be like “Meh, I’ll go steal a school.”

There are certain jobs that demand your undivided attention. Being a television reviewer, for instance. Another good example is train conductor. So when the man in charge of switching the tracks is distracted by scandalous photos of himself with a woman not his wife, bad things happen. Bad things like train crashes. Which are pretty bad as far as bad things go.

Last season, many people whispered that American Idol producers had added fourth judge Kara DioGuardi to ultimately get rid of Paula Abdul. At the time, that seemed to just be another conspiracy theory. But now, it seems it could be possible.

Paula announced today via Twitter that she is really leaving American Idol, according to Entertainment Weekly. This comes a week after Kara’s contract had been renewed and a few weeks after host Ryan Seacrest landed a recorded-making deal: $45 million, making him TV’s highest paid reality host.
