This week, the chefs face a low calorie challenge. The teams must create a three dish meal—appetizer, entrée and dessert—totaling 700 calories. Both teams do well with their appetizers but the men fail miserably with their entrée and dessert. The women win and get to spend the day at Venice Beach. They even get a volleyball lesson from Olympian Annett Davis. The men suffer through a very bizarre punishment which you can read about after the jump!

HIMYM Hosts CBS Fall Preview

CBS FALL PREVIEW, a primetime special previewing CBS’s new fall lineup, to be hosted by the stars of the hit Network comedy series HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, will be broadcast Wednesday, Sept. 2 (8:30-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. This CBS fall preview offering has been an annual tradition since 2004.

CBS FALL PREVIEW will feature sneak peeks of the five new additions to CBS’s primetime schedule this fall: the drama series NCIS: LOS ANGELES, THE GOOD WIFE, THREE RIVERS and MEDIUM and the comedy series ACCIDENTALLY ON PURPOSE. Hosts Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Neil Patrick Harris, Alyson Hannigan and Cobie Smulders exchange humorous banter throughout the special, which was taped on their series’ sets, in the midst of introducing various video previews. How quickly time passes on Design Star. Only five designers left after this challenge and my second favorite is gone.

This week, contestants designed the living room/dining room/office space of two military families who live on base. They had 22 hours and $10,000 to accomplish the task. One team succeeded with flying colors, despite major personality issues, and the other bombed.
