This week’s episode picks up where last week’s left off, with the gate team walking through the wormhole onto a desert planet. They test the sand near the Gate, but it doesn’t have enough calcium carbonate. It’s possible that what they need could be nearby, so they set off exploring.

From what I am hearing the ratings are falling, there are again rumors that the show will be canceled. But at the same time I hear that all thirteen episodes of this season will air on television. And not like last season when the last episode was never aired on television. Of course I hope that we will get to see a lot more of this particular show. At the beginning of the season I was not impressed, the second episode was better… but the third one. That one rocked!

Well, when this episode started I had to rethink what day it was. I thought I was watching Desperate Housewives for a minute.
It started out with a pig roast in a nice suburban neighborhood when suddenly we find ourselves looking at a dead body in the BBQ pit. We had all the fixin’s: a gay couple, married couples, teenagers and the creepy lady looking out through her blinds. Like I said…is this Desperate Housewives? Plus we have our usual drama within the Squint squad to look forward too.

He did solidify a pseudo-alliance with Natalie in this episode, planning to say at the Final Tribal Council: “She rode my coattails the whole way.” We’ll see.
