Kids, you know what they say: bad things happen if you sit too close to the TV. Case in point: a babysitter sits brushing her hair in front of the television. When the parents come home to relieve her of her duties, they find her brains on the outside of her skull. Gross.

Dear Mr. Murphy:

Congratulations on the success of GLEE. We are all very proud that it’s become such a phenomenon. But please, we beg you, don’t neglect your “other” show.

I’ll start with the positive notes, most of which come from the divorce proceedings between Liz and Christian, who waited until after the honeymoon to break the news about the cancer mix-up. While Christian is represented by Wayne “Hello, Newman” Knight, Liz had enlisted the services of superstar litigator Roger Payne (Barry “Massapequa” Bostwick). Payne is blind, but as Christian’s attorney points out, “So is Justice.”

OK, we have got to start wondering how bright Will is. His wife is four months not-pregnant and he hasn’t caught on yet? This guy is truly whipped!

In fact, Will may be one of the most hen-pecked men on TV, and he doesn’t just get it at home. At school, he now has Sue co-coaching the glee club and it ain’t a pretty picture. Oh no.

TwoCents and Five Questions With…

blake robbins (left) with the halpert boys

the halpert boys (blake robbins, left)

Blake Robbins, Actor (Jim’s brother Tom)

Just like Jim Halpert, I have two older brothers. And just like Jim, I close my eyes and shake my head at some of the things they do. Tom and Pete Halpert have a knack for making things awkward: From mocking Pam’s art to borrowing a whoopee cushion from Michael to conspiring with Dwight… it’s all about the tag-team pranks.

Recently, our Office-themed sister-site, ScrantonBranchOffice.com, was able to catch up with one part of that team: Blake Robbins who plays Tom. He shared with us his TwoCents about being a part of The Office Universe… and how he hopes to be around when the JAMbino is born. Enjoy!

ScrantonBranchOffice: Could you please tell our readers a little about yourself and how you got your start in show biz?

This week there were two main character storylines I will cover. Daisy gets another chance at being an intern for Brennen and Booth’s boss’s boss hits on Bones. Guest star, Diedrich Bader (you remember him as Oswald on the Drew Carey Show) is playing the roll of Booth’s boss. Now, I for one, feel someone else should have played this role. I see him as Oswald, the goofy sidekick and can not see him as a FBI agent, let alone 2 ranks higher than Booth. Someone older should have played this part… like maybe…Bruce Boxleitner, from Scarecrow & Mrs. King, wouldn’t that have been cool?

Caitlin – Senior Reviewer

Tonight, Barb and Christine get divorced. Rather, Barb tries to divorce Christine, so Christine hires Corbin Bernsen to sue her for alimony. And to think, the destruction of marriages was getting such a good reputation from Christine and Richard.

You’ll remember that Richard and Barb are getting married. This means that Barb and Christine have to separate. For a moment, it goes smoothly- until Barb says she’s going to be getting a lawyer to “protect her assets”.

Tom has an incident in the locker room and earns himself a horrible nickname. Allison and her boyfriend are going away together. Uncle Mitch is leaving for active duty. Ok, didn’t I say in my last review there was inconsistency in the story lines? This is what I’m talking about. Last episode, there was no mention of the boyfriend or Uncle Mitch leaving. Now, both of them within five seconds of each other. Sometimes I wonder …

Finale

Kara – Sr. Staff Writer

This is it! We’re down to the final three at the start of the two hour finale. Gordon makes the chefs create a dish that matches the cuisine of a randomly selected country. Ariel gets China, Dave is faced with Indian cuisine, which he’s never cooked and Kevin gets Mexico. Dave worries he’ll choose the wrong protein by picking pork. Ariel struggles to describe her dish in front of the three prestigious chefs, each being an expert in one country’s cuisine. Kevin also struggles and forgets to put the sauce on his dish but still manages to get two of the three judges on his side. Dave’s pork choice is not met with favorable reviews but despite that, his dish goes over well. So, who wins this last challenge?
