Addison needs sex. Yep, that’s how the show opens. Her telling Sam about “down there” and how it’s drying up. Great opening. Or not. Pete has to bring Lucas to work because the babysitter is sick. Violet shows no emotion seeing her baby. And YAY – DELL IS BACK!!

And then there were seven! Everyone is amazed that they’re still there (as am I coughChristopherandLogancough). This week Tim takes the designers on a field trip to Rodeo Drive. Looks like they’re dealing with the big dogs. They head to Michael Kors’ west coast flagship, which Michael and Tim are waiting for them.

This week, many of our beloved characters were forced to throw their pride away and wrap themselves in shame like Snuggie-wearers all across America do every day. It all started out with everyone being mad at Liz’s “Dealbreaker” book, especially Frank, whose entire life is one giant dealbreaker. But we knew that already.

Ah, the rebound…What a welcome sight!

Several levels of rebounding run throughout the episode. Teddy breaks up with Sean after he recovers from his sleeping pill overdose. She and Christian squabble in the ER, and she blames her proposal for causing Sean’s incident. Thrown back into his insomnia, Sean meets Vivian, a fellow insomniac with an ER fetish (Similar to David Cronenberg’s film Crash). She also mutilates herself in order to score Oxycontin. Sean almost develops an addiction himself, until she tries to mutilate him (“Your turn”). On his way out of the treatment room, Sean catches her with the janitor, and he walks out without her or the pills.

The Jeff Dunham Show

Jeff Dunham is a comic genius. I can say this, because I have Achmed the Dead Terrorist sitting on my desk as I write this. But how in the world does the world’s most popular ventriloquism act translate into a half-hour comedy series?

FlashForward
Gimme Some Truth

Caitlin- Senior Reviewer

As with any show like this, FlashForward is interested in getting your heart racing in approximately the first 30 seconds of the episode, and this week is no exception. Mark is talking to Sanford about something apparently confidential. They get into a car with Demetri, and it is immediately slammed into by another one. The passengers in that car aim guns at theirs and seem to blow it up.

I saw the last 2 minutes of the show before I was able to watch the whole episode and all I knew was Gary got offered his sportscaster job finally. Was it weird that I clapped? Why do I have so much invested in Gary Unmarried? And why do I care that Gary got his dream job? Anyway, when I got home I had to see how it all transpired. Let’s take a stroll, shall we?

Glee – Recap & Review – Mash-Up

Glee
Mash-Up

Original Air Date: Oct 21, 2009

Patricia Morris Buckley —Staff Writer
pmb@thetwocentscorp.com

A mash-up is a musical term for bringing two very different things together that normally wouldn’t mesh. Such as: Sue and love; Rachel and Puck; Emma and Ken; Quinn/Finn and social demotion.

But all those things happened on this episode of Glee, and more. The action starts with Finn getting a huge grape slushie thrown in his face, which signals that he’s no longer considered cool because he’s in glee. In fact, his football teammates won’t even take orders from him on the field anymore, despite the fact that he’s the quarterback.

Big Bang Goes Battlestar – Katee Sackhoff to Guest Star!

Fantastic news for you geek-loving, sci-fi nerds out there: Katee Sackhoff, otherwise known as Kara “Starbuck” Thrace from Battlestar: Galactica is going to appear on an episode of The Big Bang Theory!

The episode will air November 23, and Sackhoff will be playing Wolowitz’s dream girl. And really, whose dream girl isn’t she?

With the way BBT has been handling its excellent guest spots lately, I have no doubt this will be less than stellar, and can’t wait to see it!

What do you guys think?
