TNT has obtained exclusive rights to air all six episodes that have been shot for the second season, as well as the seven episodes from the series’ first season. SOUTHLAND will air on TNT Tuesdays at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), beginning with the first episode of the series on Jan. 12.

This week’s Cold Case spotlights a little-known part of history, the civilian World War II-era WASP (Women Air Force Service Pilot) program, in investigating the death of a top-notch pilot. Also, Moe scores a couple points on Lilly, and Scotty’s still trying to figure out what’s going on with his mother. It looks like all systems are go, and we’re cleared for takeoff!

The newest problem of the week aboard the Destiny is water. There was only a limited quantity of the stuff in the first place, but now their water levels have dropped. Young posts a guard, but it hasn’t stopped them from losing half their supplies.

Firstly: who is making up some of the titles this season? They’re a little unusually glib and weird. This one in particular.
Lupo and Bernard find the Obligatory Dead Body, fashion photographer Sid Maxwell, trussed up like a pig in ways that I don’t even want to think about. Everyone looks just about as weirded out as I am. Apparently he died after a pretty bad photo shoot.

We’ve set the scene, we know our players, now let’s get right to the action: suave conman Neal and straight-laced FBI guy Peter have settled into their new partnership. Their first case is to track down an Israeli counterfeiter known as “the Ghost.” Neal seems impressed by the man’s skills, though it’s hard to imagine him not being so, or they probably wouldn’t waste their time. Needless to say, he’s ready to take his first big bite out of crime.

We’re down to six designers, with only two challenges remaining before Fashion Week. I honestly have to wonder how it is that either of the remaining men are still there. Logan has been mediocre from the beginning, always floating in the middle. And Christopher started out so strong before plummeting and just barely staying alive. Meanwhile, on the girl’s side, most everyone seems fairly surprised to still see Gordana there. Even Gordana herself!
