That’s a wrap! Tonight was the series finale of Emily Owens, M.D. and the show went out on an…okay note. The last cases of the week dealt with a woman whose heart palpitations lead to something serious, a man who has come back to the hospital a year after his son died, and a crazy woman whose problems can be sourced back to her home.

We also see the conclusion of the Emily/Will/Micah love triangle. After Micah’s kiss with Emily, Emily starts debating whether or not she should be going out with her boss. Meanwhile, Cassandra is unfazed by her breakup with Will, which leaves him confused and has him rethinking his feelings for Emily. So which guy did Emily choose? Read on for the series finale recap!

Welcome to this weeks episode of Justified. There is a lot of different things that are up in the air. Raylan is still attempting to figure out where his place is now especially without either one of his women around anymore and the fact that he has a son or daughter on the way. Boyd and Ava are having a problem too, they decided to kill off Ellen May and then she managed to escape.

There is also another issue that we still have to figure out. The Marshals are still attempting to figure out where the guy is that faked his own death back in the 80’s. Another problem that we still do not know where it is going between Johnny and Wynn Duffy too. Lets see what happens this week.

White Collar – Recap & Review – Empire City

New York City has a lot of history and two very iconic institutions are jazz and taxicabs. This week’s case navigates for us through the history of both, but how do the two relate? Well Neal, Peter, Moz and the gang find out as they get to go under cover this week.

In addition to getting some movement into where Ellen wanted Neal to go, it’s another episode directed by Tim DeKay. They sure like giving him episodes that focus a lot on the City (last one was at Yankee Stadium).

TwoCents and Five Questions with Tim DeKay (White Collar)

Tim DeKay, Actor/Director

Tim DeKay has guest starred on many recent TV shows, including Chuck, Hot in Cleveland, and an upcoming episode of Body of Proof. And who could forget his infamous turn as “Bizarro Jerry” on Seinfeld. But for the last four years, Tim has been most known for playing mostly steady FBI agent Peter Burke opposite Matt Bomer’s criminal informant/friend, Neal Caffrey, on USA’s White Collar. The relationship between the two men is certainly never boring and lately has been strained as Peter’s wife Elizabeth, played by Tiffani Thiessen, has asked Neal to lie to Peter to protect him from harm. Tim DeKay also took on directing duties for tonight’s episode, “Empire City”. Please read on to see what Tim had to say about his experience directing and some of his insight into his character. Enjoy!

Sister Site Launches – ReWatching The West Wing

TheTwoCents founder, KP, has started a weekly round-table style website for discussions on Aaron Sorkin’s The West Wing. The discussion has already begun for Season One – Episode One: “Pilot”. Join in!

1Season One – Episode One – “Pilot”
Original Air Date: September 22, 1999

Roundtable: KP moderates with: Lindsay, Jer, RobbyK, and Lauren (the “Rookie” viewing each episode for the first time!)

NBC SYNOPSIS:
The entire White House staff bristles with activity when it’s learned that the President (Martin Sheen) injured himself during a bicycle accident, and his absence becomes a factor as chief of staff Leo McGarry (John Spencer) must juggle a host of impending crises, including a mass boat lift of Cuban refugees approaching the Florida coast and the reaction of conservative Christians to a controversial televised comment by deputy chief of staff Josh Lyman (Bradley Whitford). Meanwhile, Sam Seaborn (Rob Lowe), the trouble-prone deputy communications director, unknowingly spends the night with a call girl (Lisa Edelstein) and then makes another critical error during a children’s White House tour.

OPENING:

SAM SEABORN
I don’t think we’re going to run the table, if that’s what you’re asking.
BILLY KENWORTHY [reporter]
It’s not.
SAM
I know.
BILLY
Deep background. I’m not going to come close to using your name.
SAM
[laughs] You’re not going to come close to getting a quote, either.

WHO DO WE MEET THIS WEEK?:
Being the Pilot episode, the creators, more or less, are stuck having to introduce us to everyone of the main characters in one episode. Since this is our “pilot” re-watch, we will talk a bit more generic about these folks who viewers are meeting for the first time. Having watched these characters for seven seasons, we ending up knowing them very well. Yet, in mere seconds, Aaron Sorkin is able to paint each character out to the viewer.

Bones
The Doll in the Derby

Original Air Date: Feb 4, 2013

Karen – Sr. Staff Writer
Karen@thetwocentscorp.com

This week on Bones we have a mysterious storyline for Booth that has everyone wondering why and what he is doing at the hospital. Angela has a much better day at the office as she gets to go under cover as a roller derby gal, and Wendell is approaching his 29th birthday and is questioning where he is in life…with the help of Jack, of course.

I first have to thank the writers for a fabulous slippery-slimy body in the beginning segment. I give it a 9 on my gross-meter. It was also fun to watch the other security guard run scared!
