Kirby Hines is dead, beaten to death in a field, and with glitter on his face. Strangely, this is not a version of The Laramie Project but this week’s episode, and yes, the glitter will be important later. When a fight breaks out amongst the bystanders — family members — one man is arrested when he pulls a knife on another, but that is not the only arrest today. Back at CBI, Jane is placed under arrest by Sam Bosco. That bastard.

I start this recap with a question: How strange and awesome is it to see Alison Brie in such a different role on Community? Tonight, Ritchie gets asked to a dance by an extremely popular girl. Suddenly, Christine considers herself better than anyone. If you’re disappointed at what she makes of her own child’s achievements in life, you haven’t been watching the show long enough.

Gary is living his dream but is dropping the ball in other aspects of his life. He’s late, shrinks laundry and yadda yadda. Ok, who is the guy hugging Allison? Wait, Howard? I thought she dumped him a few episodes ago? Ugh, seriously? Gary crashes the car into Louise’s cello – NOT GOOD. So Allison suggests she starts taking the kids an extra day but he says he can do it all.

OK, this one’s for the guys…How big is too big? You see ads all over the place for entertainers named “Wendy Whoppers” or “Letha Weapons”, not to mention the plus size entertainer who called herself “Tons-o-Fun”. (I’m sure someone out there is yelling, “I can deal with the neck brace!”)
