There is no “previously on” in this week’s episode, so I guess we’re diving right into the show. Oh, before I get started. Word on the street is there is going to be an official Grey’s/Private Practice crossover coming up soon. Not like the Bailey one, but where it involves both shows with a few doctors. Wahoo! Ok, back to our show.

From the moment they began running the season promos, they’ve been teasing us with the “Kitten Mittens” joke. Maybe it’s because I’m a dog lover, but there’s something hilarious about seeing a cat lose all traction walking across the furniture. Cheap visual gags…You can’t beat ‘em. And this week, there are plenty.

Like football, some television shows expose their weaknesses early on. The best correct those weaknesses quickly. Others fall into their trap and never recover.

The Jeff Dunham Show
Episode 3

Original Air Date: Nov 5, 2009

Brittany Frederick – Staff Writer

We open Episode 3 with my favorite character ever, Achmed the Dead Terrorist. He wants to become a U.S. citizen so he can do something evil “from the inside.” This includes changing his name to Steve and take a class to study for the citizenship test. Part of the class is trying to get rid of his accent, and soon the whole class is learning how to say “I kill you.” It only goes downhill from there.

So is it just me or is Damon Salvatore getting really annoying? Yes, he’s bitter over the death of that Katherine chick he was supposedly so in love with, as well as resentful of his brother who always seems to get the girl. Sure, it must be awesome to have super-human strength and the ability to control people’s minds. And yeah, maybe after a century of being dead amongst the living you’re sort of over being Mr. Nice Guy but damn, does he have to be such a completely evil (albeit sexy) jerk ALL THE TIME?

Liz believes her arduous and digestively challenging search for a new cast member is over, and she decides she wants to hire a comic named Jaden. First, she has to get past Jack, and she decides to do so by rigging the auditions in Jaden’s favor using “The Hornberger Method” to ensure success. Yeah, because we all think of Pete as some kind of evil mastermind…um, Liz might want to rethink this, because the poop is about to hit the fan in the form of an overly paranoid Jenna and Tracy.

Caitlin- Senior Reviewer

We open on a peaceful scene of a woman playing in the park with her two boys while a voice reads a letter to her, saying he knows she didn’t have a flash forward. She’s given a flyer for a website called “Already Ghosts”, for people who didn’t have visions.

Another gaudy motel room… why, this looks familiar! Or does it? I don’t remember a laugh track, but usually I provide my own. And Dean’s sandwich looks just a little bigger than normal…

The credits are sort of a clincher. I think we need those credits all the time.

It’s the last challenge and everyone’s tense. Irina is not speaking to Althea because she still thinks that she copied her sweater. Christopher is all alone in the boys’ apartment (though it’s anyone’s guess as to how THAT was possible).
