Picking up right were we left off last week, Ericka and Jack see a group of Vs cleaning up the mess at the warehouse. Desperate to expose them, Ericka calls 911 from a payphone. Too bad the Vs have the 911 call routed to the mother ship. The barely get away and decide that the best way to wage a resistance is to do nothing. Well, Erica decides that, Jack just looks confused.

Between Veteran’s Day, the fact I finally (after two weeks!) got my functioning laptop back from the shop, and Eric McCormack being back on the show, it’s shaping up to be a nice Wednesday. Well, not for Christine. For Christine it’s just like every other day.

TwoCents & Five Questions With…

men

andre braugher (with ray romano and scott bakula)

…Andre Braugher, Actor

He’s won two Emmy Awards and been nominated for dozens of other awards and accolades. He’s played an iconic television character whom TV Guide named one of television’s most memorable roles. He’s anchored a half-dozen television series. Now, in December, Andre Braugher returns to TV as one-third of the Men of a Certain Age on TNT, alongside Ray Romano and Scott Bakula. He plays Owen, a put-upon car salesman trying to win the approval of his boss, who just so happens to be his father, while struggling with the demands of his family. The Emmy winner and Golden Globe nominee tells us what’s in store for his latest small-screen venture.

TheTwoCents: You were well known from all the things that you’ve done, and then you have Ray with “Everybody Loves Raymond” and Scott with “Quantum Leap”. What’s it like working people who you know been there and done that? You’ve all done these big huge things on your own and then you’ve come together.

No Room For Dollhouse Anymore

poor joss whedon

Hollywood Reporter is saying another show bites the dust today!

“FOX has canceled Joss Whedon’s cult fave, which in May beat the odds with a second-season pickup despite low ratings.

The sci-fi series, which is filming episode 11, is expected to finish its 13-episode order.

After some dismal performance in the fall, despite the ratings bumps “Dollhouse” got from DVR viewing, Fox benched the show for the November sweep after four episodes.

It is not clear if Fox will air the remaining episodes starting Dec. 4 as planned.”

ABC Yanks Hank

should have kept playing Frasier

should have kept playing Frasier

From Hollywood Reporter: “ABC has canceled the freshman comedy starring Kelsey Grammer. The show is filming episode 10 and will stop production after wrapping that episode.

ABC, which has aired five half-hours of “Hank,” has no immediate plans to run the remaining five segments.

For the next few weeks, the network will air a combination of comedy repeats and holiday specials in “Hank’s” Wednesday 8 p.m. time slot. (ABC already preempted the freshman comedy once for a Charlie Brown Halloween special last month.)”

What’s your TwoCents? Will you miss it? Did you even watch it? What do you think is next for the canceled bandwagon?

Many thanks to Farrah for covering for me last week! To get you caught up—previously in everyone’s favorite zip, Sasha faked both a pregnancy and a miscarriage (classy!), Ivy and Liam got smoochy, Erin and Teddy bonded over their sick mothers, and Ade fell off the wagon.

If I learned anything from this episode it’s that if it appears obvious, then it isn’t what’s really happening. Case in point (no pun intended), Alicia is sent off to defend the daughter of one of the firm’s partners (Stern, never seen). Seems Rose is a real party girl. “Seems” is the important word, because it turns out she’s living the life of an orthodox Jew now.
