Kate Walsh was doing major press this week for the show. I’m not exactly why, but the clip she brought with her ended with her and Sam holding hands and every host asked about her and Sam. Oh, how I’m hoping these two get together. I’m not a fan of the car crash preview, but I’m definitely a fan of the hand-holding preview.

Gaga Does Gossip

Every week I write the R&R for Gossip Girl and how bored I’ve been. Even the threesome didn’t excite me.

But you know what does have my excitement? LADY GAGA IS COMING TO GOSSIP GIRL!!!

The basic setup is former Queen Bee Blair wants to land a private concert with Lady Gaga to get in with the “elite” kids at NYU.

To see part of Lady Gaga’s appearance in the episode, appropriately titled “The Last Days of Disco Stick,” check out this clip.

Following a SNAFU of epic proportions, Minelli has Bosco and Lisbon into his office to find out what’s going on here, and they each had legitimate reasons to be on the premises. Bosco had been investigating the kidnapping of Mia Westlake, while Lisbon and her team were waiting for the coroner to show up when Bosco interrupted. Jane delivers to them an ID on the body: one Colin Hamer, dead three to five years and a former kidnapping victim himself under similar circumstances. Minelli puts the two teams to work together on the case, regardless of Bosco’s personal feelings about Jane.

OK, I have to throw a flag on this one…

I have nothing against poop jokes. Family Guy is one of my favorite shows, and they have made a career out of this kind of humor. It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia devoted an entire episode to them last season. But when a show has better places to go, I do have an issue. Especially when we start seeing those jokes in the third episode.

Two cat episodes in a row?

That turns out to be a quickly forgotten flash, as the gang balances Mac and Dennis’ relationship against Frank and Charle’s, while Dee takes step after step to becoming “Crazy Cat Lady.” Laughs from start to finish here, and the storylines are seamless as they all come together in the final minutes.

Andi – Associate Staff Writer

Hi, I’ll be your tour guide for this week’s Vampire Diaries. My name is Andi, and I have a very confusing love/hate relationship with this show, so bear with me here while I slog through the previouslies so I can get through this recap before I say something I’ll regret…

Previously on The Vampire Diaries: Stefan whined about his lot in life…err… unlife, rather; Damon was a very bad man; Damon was a very sexy man; Damon became my most favoritest ever; Elena was confused about everything, which she lamented about for hours and hours in her diary; and Bonnie discovered that not only is Jasmine Guy her Grandma, thus defying all laws of mathematics, but she’s also a witch, which defies all laws of physics. So, Bonnie = cool. Got that? Good, because now it’s on to…

The branch gets word via the Wall Street Journal that Dunder Mifflin is declaring bankruptcy and is up in arms, naturally. Michael’s solution is to play a murder mystery game to get everyone’s mind off of things. Jim thinks it’s a bad idea and that everyone should just get back to work.

Woah, Izzie returns with her science teacher from high school or something. He seems to have Alzheimer’s. Izze wants Meredith to sneak him into the hospital for Derek to look at. Mostly Meredith is pissed that this is what brings Izzie back after all her friends were worried about her. And apparently Hunt recruited an old friend- a Cardio doctor- for Yang to work with! We’ll see what kind of drama ensues this week!

Every so often, there is an episode that reminds me why I love Survivor. This, my friends, was one of those episodes. Some brilliant moves were made… we’re talking genius strategy, people. Sure, most of it came from someone I don’t particularly like, but I’ve got to respect some flawless game-playing when I see it. Out-wit, indeed!
