Hollywood Reporter has the following:
“ABC is close to a pilot order for “Charlie’s Angels,” a contemporary take on the 1970s series.
The project is being executive produced by the three producers of the two “Charlie’s Angels” movies, Drew Barrymore, Nancy Juvonen and Leonard Goldberg, who also executive produced the original series.

This week we have Betty & Hilda running into bad-boy Bobby (Adam Rodriguez) from their school days. They remember how they each had crush on him. As for Justin, he is trying to fit in at school, so he is working with Marc, who gets the cheerleaders new outfits. But, as Justin is showing one girl the perfect length of her skirt a football jock comes by and makes fun of him. Marc then convinces the girls that Justin could help with their routines. Marc is great with Justin!

The Destiny sends an away team of a dozen people to search for food on the newest planet they’ve discovered, a hot and humid jungle planet. Eli records everything documentary style with his Kino, which means we see the first several minutes through its slightly distorted lens. Oh, joy. They scrounge up some food, but before they can test it, Volker and Chloe get sick.

Dean is driving like a bat out of hell. He and Sam are obviously in a big hurry. They pull into a parking lot that happens to be full of Impalas. Huh. When they get out, they rush up to Chuck, who is standing on the front steps of a hotel. He seems pretty surprised to see them (which is embarrassing for a prophet!). They received a text from him telling them to come quick, that it was an emergency.

We have a hostage situation, people. A 15 year-old kid and a couple of greasy looking guys are stopped by the cops. After checking that the kid is OK, Cop #1 decides to jump off the parking garage to his death and Cop #2 thinks it’d be a good idea to shoot Cops 3 and 4 and then herself. Hmm… And here’s the clincher: Tyler (this hostage) is the son of a Dr. Carson who just so happens to work in the aerospace division of Massive Dynamics. Well that’s just all kinds of fishy.
