Read between the lines…it’s something these detectives have to do all the time. But when an up-and-coming rap star is murdered, they might need to depend on the victim herself for a break in the case. Meanwhile, Saccardo’s got a surprise for Lil, and the Queen of Snark returns, to much rejoicing from this recapper. Word.

When we last left the Walker clan, Rebecca figured out she was pregnant, Kitty shaved her head, Sarah was happy with Luc, Nora found herself a boy toy, Holly found out she had no money, Justin is studying like crazy to become a doctor, Scotty and Kevin were looking for a surrogate and Ojai/Walker Landing was going to make cheap wine (but Ryan is supposed to sabotage it). Oh yah, and Tommy left for good. I think that’s pretty much it. So let’s see what the crazy Walkers are up to this week.

CBS Shortens Its NUMB3RS

photo: cbs

Uh oh folks, my favorite dark horse show seems to be in trouble!

CBS announced that it is cutting the episode count of Friday night staple “Numb3rs” from 22 to 16 this season – a likely sign that the show will be done after six seasons.

Does anyone else watch this show? Can we save it?

Quagmire is having a garage sale so we’ll see what kind of crazy shenanigans this lead’s to! I sure hope that the title isn’t misleading me because I could totally go for a Quagmire-central episode!

Big Guest List for Modern Family

425_modern_family_050809

photo: abc

New sitcom Modern Family has already had one big-name star guest on their show (Shelley Long, playing Ed O’Neill’s ex-wife).

So who is coming to visit the family next? Take a look at these names: Ed Norton, Elizabeth Banks, Benjamin Bratt and Minnie Driver. And these are only the guaranteed stars. More are in the works!

This is unheard of for a new show. Most shows wait until after their freshman season to see how the show goes to bring in guest stars. But Modern Family is doing well in the ratings and seems okay with taking chances. Shows usually use guest stars to bring in an audience but Modern Family already has a strong enough following it doesn’t need to pull any stunts.

To see when the guest stars will be coming and who they will be playing, read more at insidetv.
