The BBC has canceled the supernatural series Being Human after five seasons. The show will wrap later this year on BBC Three.

The six-episode fifth season kicked off earlier this month on BBC Three. An air date for the finale has not yet been scheduled. Being Human was remade for North American audiences by Syfy in 2010 and is not affected by this cancellation.

I think this week sets a record for the fastest time for someone to want to hurt Sheldon with his spoiler on book six of the Harry Potter series that Leonard has finally gotten around to reading. Add to that his theory that Leonard’s soy milk is turning him into a “hysterical woman” and Leonard has every reason to be angry.

He even throws the roommate agreement in the trash!

Well, we get no cold opening today. Is that a good sign or not? I guess we have a lot of ground to cover and I hope a bunch of it is Jim and Pam NOT getting divorced.

Jim and Pam are in the same town for Valentine’s Day but only because Jim finagled it out of his partners. Erin has plans to break up with Andy because he’s coming back from his boat trip the next day. She complains that he’s been a total jerk to her and she hardly heard from him while he was gone on his self-discovery mission. She for her last day of being Andy’s girlfriend wants to do something fun with Pete. Seems legit.

Troy and Abed back from Summer! Everyone’s wearing hipster glasses and the live studio audience freaks out. Also Pierce has been replaced by Fred Willard. Oh, it was just Abed’s happy place. Aw, I wish that was real. Welcome back to Greendale, folks!

That happy place was just Britta walking him through their last first day of school. The credits roll and the show is now called “Abed’s Happy Community College Place”. And we’re back to reality where Pierce is Pierce. Bummer.

Leslie and Ben’s wedding is still in the midst of planning, and Ben takes it upon himself to figure out the caterer. He enlists the help of Ron, Chris, and Tom (who’s a big fan of Instagram-ing food), but things go awry when the gang falls victim to some sneaky-and ill-prepared- calzones.

Hollywood Week – Men Part 2

Tonight, the men didn’t have anyone to blame if their performance went back. They had 12 hours to pick a song from a list and work with vocal coach, then they hit the stage accompanied by band and back up singers. They could also play an instrument.

But that’s OK, those that failed to meet the judges’ expectations usually had someone or something to blame as the group of 43 whittled down to 28.

Remember actions have consequences? Well, it seems the cost may be higher than Pearson Hardman can afford. Remember the flashback episode? All the things we’ve learned comes back to play an important role – love this show.

Daniel is leading the deposition for Folsom Foods. His tactic? To wage a war against Pearson Hardman – he’s suing the firm on behalf of Monica Eton, his ex-mistress, for wrongful termination in the amount of $10M. If I was Folsom Foods, I’d be pissed – my case has just become an afterthought!! (Not really but we’ll get to that).

Grey’s Anatomy
The Face Of Change

Tonight’s voice over is brought to us by Alex Karev. He’s apparently not a big fan of change, but who really is? But what’s ironic is that, although steeped in change, this hour was definitely reminiscent of years past. Specifically, season two’s Denny-LVAD Wire plot. But you know what, I love a good team effort.

Near everyone, sans Arizona and Bailey, were front and center this week as we moved forward with the hospital-for-sale story line. It was truly an ensemble hour, as I don’t think I could pinpoint the standouts, except for maybe Mr. and Mrs. Plantain. Did you enjoy this hour as much as I did, despite the we-all-saw-it-coming ending?
