FlashForward, Like Others, Taking LONG Winter Break

The Hollywood Reporter is letting viewers know that fans of FlashForward are going to have to wait until MARCH for the show to come back! How do you guys feel about the long break shows like FlashForward, Glee and V are taking?

“Some ABC viewers just had a flashback.

The network ran a promo at the end of Thursday’s “FlashForward” letting viewers know the show would return in March — March 4, to be exact. It’s similar to the announcement made at the end of “V,” saying the show would return that same month. But while the “V” message met with relief (it’s coming back!), the “FlashForward” push is being met with dismay (that long?), especially since fans expected the show to continue in January.

ABC wants to get the show out of the way of the Winter Olympics and air the show straight through without repeats. The network also is setting a firm date for the return of “V” — March 30. “

Liz is so happy she bursts into song, and since it’s Liz, the song is actually about ham. Jack makes the observation that she’s “like a swarthy, big-hipped Kelly Ripa,” and she has a fantasy that is rudely interrupted by Pete telling her that Jenna has locked herself in her dressing room.

We open with A Christmas Carol. Rather, with the woman who told Demetri he would be murdered watching the old classic. I’m not sure whether this is just the writers’ idea of holiday spirit or has a deeper meaning, but next we’re off to Hong Kong with Marc and Demetri.

The playoffs came awfully quick. I guess that when a show has only six episodes, that happens. With a full thirteen episodes slated for Season Two, let’s hope there’s a smoother transition next year.

Am I the only one who screamed “FINALLY!” at the TV screen during this episode? Surely not.

Yes, Teri was SO busted when Will discovered that she’s not preggo. In doing so, we got possibly the most dramatic episode of Glee so far with only a few musical numbers. While normally that would be a bad thing, this moment had to come and when it did, the pay off was real and vastly rewarding.
