It’s seems the Powers That Be heard my wish that the next character to die would be one of the annoying ones. When Sgt. Spencer fails to report to duty, Greer goes to check on him and finds him dead in his room from a gunshot wound. Camille and Young get into an argument about whether he should have been allowed a weapon, given his instability. Greer – apparently the only one who’s ever seen an episode of CSI – interrupts by pointing out that it can’t have been suicide; there’s no gun in the room.

Last week’s episode title shares the same as this week, but this time they MEAN it. After tonight, we will no longer be graced by Adrian Monk and friends. We kick off the second part of the two-part series finale, and I hope and expect that Monk and ourselves will discover the identity of Trudy’s killer…

Is it really already over? Seven episodes of this summer’s best crackling crime caper (I really haven’t had this much fun since last season’s debut of Leverage, really), and we’re at the fall finale already. Darn you, USA and your split seasons!

Friday Night Lights – Recap & Review – The Son

Caffertygate takes a week off so we can focus on Matt and that depressing announcement from the final ten seconds of the last episode. Still, amid all of this, Becky The Crazy Riggins Fangirl Stalker manages to carve out some screen time, which is really only because she’s attached her fanged suction cups to Taylor Kitsch, who has the pleasure of being Mr. Stardom for this show, and JD McDick continues to run around acting like a jerk. But mostly, everyone gathers around Matt to be his support system and Zach Gilford rocks it like whoa and Billy Riggins is oddly around and Landry is Lance again and Lyla Friggen Garrity shows up! And absolutely under no circumstances did I cry.

Oh, who am I fooling? I cried like a sad little girl.

“Ground Control to Major Tom” a man blows up a freeway overpass for reasons unknown to us and…she wakes up! It’s time for another Medium folks, and it’s timely with the news we’ve been getting all the time lately – and I’m not talking about Tiger Woods.

It’s a gross one, kids! We open in Chinatown with a crazy man running around looking for some address in the middle of the night. This does not bode well. He finds the shop and is helped by a very kind Asian man who was apparently expecting him. The very kind Asian man then harvests a nasty wormy-octopus-like creature from the mouth of the crazy man, killing him. Eww.

The Top 9 Things I Learned from Survivor 19

9. Brett: Dear Brett – I should be at a point now where I can write a little about each castaway, but week after week you continue to do nothing. I understand the whole wanting-to-fly-under-the-radar thing, but this is getting ridiculous.

Idina Menzel Wants to Be Glee-ful

idina menzel

Many of us on TheTwoCents staff asked the TV Claus to bring Idina Menzel to Glee.

It seems he listened – sort of. Playbill.com has reported that Idina would love to be on Glee, especially considering everyone notices the resemblance she has to Lea Michele (Rachel), as well as their Broadway history together.

Taye Diggs, Idina’s husband and the handsome Sam from Private Practice, was quoted as saying: “We are just so happy to see a lot of these theater kids get the opportunity to do some television work.”

Us fans would love to see more Broadway vets come on board! Bring us some Idina! And while you’re at it, another Kristin Chenowith appearance wouldn’t be so bad.

Maya is the daughter of Sam (Taye Diggs) and Naomi (Audra McDonald).

Arquette, who recently guest-starred on two episodes of ABC’s Eastwick, is scheduled to appear in one episode of Private Practice in early February.

Not too much is going on this week with our favorite couple, but some funny stuff does go on within the Squints group. Our tall intern, Fisher, is back and has tickets to the premiere showing of Avatar. He asks Sweets and Hodgins to go with him, and boy are they pumped! They figure they have to camp out in front of the theater so they can get the best seats. Kind of reminds me of this past weekend and the whole “Black Friday” fiasco.
