When we last left our favorite single father, he had been rejected by Sasha because his life was complicated. She had seen him through a horrible Thanksgiving, then fell for him during a day with his daughter but realized he had too much baggage with the kids and Allison. And let’s not forget – she’s his boss. But these two, they’ve got something. He brings out her fun side and she brings out his serious side. I have a feeling in my gut something will bring these two together. It has to. If not, well, I don’t know but I will be sad.

Dear TV Claus,

I know it’s been a while since we’ve spoken, but I kinda need a few favors. There’s some of that fabulous Entenmanns’s Coffee Cake that you like so much in it for you…

1. Please let Jeffrey Dean Morgan return to Supernatural this season. And while you’re at it, could you please help Dean and Sam not have an ultimate Biblical Celebrity Death Match? Oh, and if you’re going to be all the way up there in Vancouver anyway, could you finagle a 6th season?

2. Do you think you could run over that Becky girl on Friday Night Lights with your sleigh? No one will mind, I promise.

Last elimination show before next week’s big finale! We open tonight with a strange sort of contemporary routine, which makes total sense when I learn it’s a Sonya routine. Ashleigh appears to still be resting up from her injuries. Cat looks cute her never-ending collection of mini-dresses. Who’s going home tonight?

The season draws to a close as the overgrown fratboys at Paddy’s meet their match when they take on some actual fratboys.

8:17 AM, on a Thursday, and the guys are wondering why Frank bought a pair of “skinny jeans”. Dee rushes in with the news that Paddy’s is once again allowed to compete in Flipadelphia, the citywide flip-cup tournament. Turns out that the last time they competed, Paddy’s poisoned the other team’s beer, but Dee still managed to lose the event for them. While she practices, the gang heads to former rival Molly’s to raise enough hell so that their manager Art will demand a rematch.

It’s family time at McNamara/Troy, as Sean long lost brother appears out of nowhere, while Christian is reminded of his adoptive father. While the musical selections are a little obvious (He Ain’t Heavy He’s My Brother; Father Figure), they are all on the money regarding the central themes.
