In the preview from last week, Simon is coming back and he is trying to woo back Nora, while Sarah has a bad feeling about him still and Kevin makes an “OMG” face about something. They didn’t give us much to go on, so I just sat back and was prepared for anything at this point. One thing I did know, deep in my Brothers and Sisters-loving soul was that I hoped Ryan was sticking around after he saved Kitty’s life. But, this is B&S and anything can happen.

Simon Cowell’s Last Season On Idol

cowell

At the Television Critics meetings today, Simon Cowell confirmed that this upcoming season of American Idol will be his last.

FOX is saying they aren’t looking to replace him with a “Simon clone” on the show. But that leads to the question – who would YOU like to see replace Simon?

Share your TwoCents on the matter in the comments.

Two Cents & Five Questions With…

Carter Bays and Craig Thomas, Producers

Last week, I had the pleasure of listening in on a conference call with Carter Bays and Craig Thomas, the creators of How I Met Your Mother. The topic of the call was the 100th episode, which airs tonight at 8PM on CBS. I for one, was extremely excited for the episode, and after listening to the creators, even more excited than ever before!

The first set of questions focused on the episode in specific. The episode is titled “Girls Vs. Suits” and according to Carter Bays and Craig Thomas, there are two main focus points. The first is Ted; and his step that gets the audience closer to knowing who the mother is. There wasn’t much they could tell us, but what we do know is that Rachel Bilson is guest starring in the episode, she “may or may not be the mother.” The other focus point is the Barney story. As you all know, Barney is notorious for his many, MANY conquests; and one that he wants is the new hot bartender at McLarens. However, she doesn’t like guys who wear suits; and because of this dilemma, the cast breaks into an elaborate and hilarious musical number.

Leno’s Officially Done At 10:00PM

jay, conan, jimmy

We’ve been hearing rumors about Leno causing issues with local affiliate ratings for 11pm news stations. Yesterday NBC finally announced that the idea to do a talk show and scrap scripted programming at 10pm was a failed one and pulled The Jay Leno Show from the air.

Of course, NBC still has a contract with Leno so they need to find a place to put him. The issue is they have Conan on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon on Late Night, and even have Carson Daly sitting around with his really late night show.

NBC has no idea what to do yet with the guys. Ideally they want to move Leno to 11:30, Conan to 12:00 and Fallon to 1am. None of the hosts have agreed to this yet though.

What about you guys? Does Jay still deserve to be on TV? Will you stay up till 1am to watch Fallon? Did you even know Carson Daly was still around?

“It doesn’t matter where you’ve been; it matters where you’re going.” That rather inspiring quote appeared in this week’s episode of Cold Case, which delves into the murder of a recently-returned soldier-turned-Army recruiter. It also applies to Lilly in a personal way, as it seems she’s finally got herself a family (including a totally awesome stepmother). What a way to kick off 2010!

Two Cents & Five Questions With…

levi

Zachary Levi, Actor

Chuck returns tonight and the show’s two creators, Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak, and the star of the series, Zachary Levi, sat down to provide us with a few tidbits about season 3, Chuck’s new fighting powers, the network moving the starting date up by months and the additional six episodes that were tacked on at the last minute.

TheTwoCents: Zachary Levi, how do you feel about Chuck’s new fighting abilities?
ZL: I like it as an actor and as a man. For two years I’ve sat on the sidelines, watching Sarah and Casey kick bad guy butt. Chuck was better at running away and screaming like a little sissy. Now he’s able to lend a hand in the kick buttery.

I’m loving tackling people. It’s all super fun. I’m holding up to it all pretty well. My biggest change is my linkatude (his height). Thank goodness we have a great stunt coordinator.

TTC: Will this change the Chuck we fell in love with?

There’s a serial killer on the loose when Medium returns from it’s winter hiatus. When the main suspect dies, and reaches out to Allison to help, it adds up to an odd case for the whole crew.

The beginning of the show introduces us to a woman whose dog has been murdered and is getting harassing phone calls from McCreepy on the phone. She finds a dead woman in her closet and gets snatched herself.
