heroic enough for dvr?
Last night my DVR forced me to make a major decision. I can record only two shows at a time and I had programmed it for The Big Bang Theory, Fringe and Heroes. One of them had to go.
It wasn’t that hard of a decision. Quite frankly, Heroes has been “on the bubble” for me for some time. Lately, I noticed that I watched everything else on my DVR until Heroes was the only thing left. Sometimes, I even had a build up of several episodes.
Saying “good-bye” to a show isn’t easy. I had already parted with one at the beginning of the fall season. My husband isn’t a fan of Grey’s Anatomy and it was difficult for me to watch it when he wasn’t home – or the kids. So I watched it online. This year, I just forgot to do that… and haven’t regretted it at all (Gizzie, then Denny the Ghost just ruined it for me, quite frankly).

There are a few changes — Paula Abdul will not be returning (there are guest judges at the city auditions and then Ellen DeGeneres joins the judges’ panel during Hollywood Week) and last year’s Wild Card round is gone. Randy Jackson spoke frankly with us about the coming season, American Idol’s ninth.
