Castle returned from its winter hiatus with an endearing episode. We’ve previously been shown morsels of Castle’s lothario ways, but this time we saw the heartbreak he felt over his “one that got away.” And Beckett’s increasingly raised eyebrows foretold the inevitable coupling of Beckett and Castle… Should we work on that moniker now? Bastle? Bestle? Cackett? Casett?

There’s some kind of mob thing going down and one of the guys goes down during a gun fight only he isn’t shot. House stitches the guy up outside of the ER because there are lots of cops in the ER.  House asks him what went down but the guy doesn’t want to say.  House says that’s too bad since it’s going to happen again and slaps his cane against the exam table making a loud noise which causes the guy to collapse.

In tonight’s second episode of Ted, Veronica is rivals with another team at Veridian. I’m loving the double episodes, but I’m worried that it means the network is burning up shows before cancellation.

Another double feature of Better Off Ted. A memo wreaks havoc on Veridian. But since the company refuses to admit mistakes, the memo stands. The memo demands that employees insult each other, and I’m instantly jealous I don’t work there.

With both Leonard and Howard coupled up with actual girls, Raj and Sheldon are getting left behind. Sheldon, of course, couldn’t be happier, but Raj isn’t taking it well. (He brought over the four-hour cut of Watchmen, and no one wants to watch it? Madness! I’ll watch it with you, Raj!)

Since we had three glorious episodes of Chuck in two days, I’m going to combine my recap/review into one long story. I know nobody is a glutton for punishment in wanting to read three heavy-handed recap/reviews about our favorite spies.

When the start the season, Chuck (Zachary Levi) is in Prague. It’s only been six months in Buymoria since we last checked in – but it seems like almost year to us. Chuck, you’ll recall, was implanted with an updated Intersect at the end of last season – and now, when he flashes (which might make for an interesting drinking game btw) he’s not just buffered with information, he also obtains specific skill sets.

Well folks, we made it! 100 amazing episodes of How I Met Your Mother, and the writers surely didn’t disappoint. From the start of the episode, until the end of the musical number, my friend and I continued to laugh! I hope you all loved it as much as I did…

Months and months of hype lead up to the Rachel Bilson guest starring role. Was she the mother? Was she the mother’s sister? Was she ROBIN’S sister? (I have heard variations of all of those questions). None of those were correct, but as we all found out in the first 6 minutes of the episode; she is the mother’s roommate!

Southland – Recap & Review – Unknown Trouble (Pilot)

Okay, I know what you’re thinking: Uh, didn’t this show get canceled? Well, yes and no. When The Jay Leno Show went to 10 PM, Southland got the boot after only seven episodes, although they kept shooting. Thanks to the folks over on TNT, who loved the show so much, they picked up the original seven, what they had shot and ordered a full season. So now we have a brand new life to the show. The original NBC episodes are considered season one and after that will be considered season two. TNT is making us forget Southland was ever on NBC and calling this a “series premiere” which is why I am putting the original air date as January 12, 2010 instead of however long ago it aired on NBC. Honestly, as long as I get to watch this show, I’m a happy girl.

Conan Doesn’t Want To Follow Leno

Conan O’Brien has released the following statement today:

” People of Earth:

In the last few days, I’ve been getting a lot of sympathy calls, and I want to start by making it clear that no one should waste a second feeling sorry for me. For 17 years, I’ve been getting paid to do what I love most and, in a world with real problems, I’ve been absurdly lucky. That said, I’ve been suddenly put in a very public predicament and my bosses are demanding an immediate decision.

Six years ago, I signed a contract with NBC to take over The Tonight Show in June of 2009. Like a lot of us, I grew up watching Johnny Carson every night and the chance to one day sit in that chair has meant everything to me. I worked long and hard to get that opportunity, passed up far more lucrative offers, and since 2004 I have spent literally hundreds of hours thinking of ways to extend the franchise long into the future. It was my mistaken belief that, like my predecessor, I would have the benefit of some time and, just as important, some degree of ratings support from the prime-time schedule. Building a lasting audience at 11:30 is impossible without both.
