Sully the pregnophile is back because James wants him and Billie to do the cover story for the Sunday magazine. Or, as we call it here in America: Parade. This Sunday’s cover will feature The Rock. Sully and Billie decide they have to knock the article out of the park since the economy is bad and people are losing their jobs left and right. This is their ticket to stay in.

So last week, the big questions when we left were if Kitty was going to run for office (based on previews), if Sarah was going to finally find happiness with this new man she met at the science fair, and if Scotty and Kevin’s embryos would take. Those are some pretty big questions that need answers so I’m diving right in!

The lawyer picked to divvy up the UEB’s $2,000,000 trust starts out in a session of the Utah State Senate. He and a politician are debating the proper course of action which leads the politician to go into a semi-rant against polygamy. He thinks the compound should be bulldozed and the people the prosecuted. Bill is in the audience listening to the rant and seems to have some kind of… epiphany. Albi and his mother are hosting Roman’s funeral viewing where apparently a mass of followers are flocking (even from satellite sites in different states) to see Roman’s dead body. Bill gets a mysterious box in the mail with a bunch of documents- looks to have come from a courthouse or law firm or something. Bill and the family are having lunch outside and he pitches his idea: to run for the open state senate seat to help protect polygamy for him and everyone. The family seems divided about whether this is a good idea for everyone. Let’s see how Bill and the family proceed, shall we?

Well, I was prepared to be very cranky during this episode since I had to miss the Golden Globes to watch it, but I was pleasantly surprised. I felt this was a bit of a return to the DH we know and love. I was especially glad to see the episode start with Bob and Lee. We definitely don’t see enough of them. Also, Katherine was back this week. Read on to find out what went down on Wisteria Lane this week.

I’m proud to say that I’ve been on the 24 bandwagon since the very first episode in 2001, and every season has been the best couple of months in the television year. The idea of this being possibly the last season has me on the edge of my seat: is this Jack Bauer’s last bad day? And the fans’ last great one? If it is, it’s getting off to another strong start.

Hey, Paul Young is holding people hostage! Wait…wrong show. Same actor, though. And Eddie Arlette wants to talk him down. Wait…still wrong show. But this is Human Target, the new thrill ride stuffed with people who really should have been treated better by TV a long time ago. Now they finally get their due. At least, we hope.

Ah, the world of the private investigator: smoke-filled offices, crimson-lipped dames demanding to know the whereabouts of their husbands, buxom secretaries, sleazy lawyers…at first, this episode seems like nothing more than a paperback spy novel, but, if we’ve learned anything from Cold Case, we know there’s always more than meets the eye. We can take several other lessons from this week’s episode, too: Be careful who you trust, know the difference between vigilance and stalking, never underestimate the power of naps…and whatever you do, don’t eat the “special soup.”

Lupo and Bernard turn up at a vacant construction site to find the corpse of a reporter. Her name is Megan, she was strangled, and she’s this week’s Official Dead Body.

The problem is her colleagues don’t seem to know her, her apartment is clean as a whistle, and several major personal items are missing. A message on her machine leads them to a young woman whom the reporter interviewed who claims she had an affair with Vanessa Carville, the married host of a View-like TV show. Bigger problem: when they come to interview Vanessa, she’s having dinner with Jack. Jack tells them she’s being blackmailed. Awkward!

Fringe – Recap & Review – Johari Window

I’ll be honest… I thought we were in for an episode like The X-Files “Home” when this one opened up. Thankfully, there was another explanation. We begin with a boy walking alone along a road near the border of Edina, New York. A well-meaning sheriff picks him up and takes him in. In the Fringe-y twist, the normal-looking kid turns out to be horribly deformed. Two men with the same deformities bust into the Sheriff’s station, kill everyone there, and take off with the kid.
