The Vampire Diaries (or as I call it, “Pretty Monsters with Problems”) is finally back from its month-long hiatus! Before we jump into tonight’s episode of tragic revelations, Damon’s badassness, and Stefan’s sketchiness allow me to refresh your memories on the previous installment. Elena, after a passionate night of love-making with Stefan, found the infamous photograph of Katherine and freaked, fleeing Stefan’s place immediately. The last we saw of her, she was trapped in her crashed SUV, screaming her head off as the reanimated corpse of the shadowy figure she had just hit loomed closer…

Tonight’s episode is a walk back through the best parts of The Office over the years. It’s a clip show, basically, so it’s nothing you haven’t seen before.

An investment banker is coming to sign off on the sale of the Scranton branch of DM. Apparently, there’s a potential buyer and this guy is here to see what the office is like. Michael and the group put on a show for the guy, but he’s basically a glorified fact checker and isn’t interested.

Hi everyone! I’m back from LA- a big THANK YOU to Farrah for covering for me last week. I’m going to follow in her foot steps (and technically in my original footsteps) and ditch the time line thing for a while to put my rants in paragraph form once again. Whose with me? No one? Ok, fine. On with the show!

Dylan, Addy, Beth and Liam are the freshest four lawyers from the best law schools in the country. They are thrown in to the pool with the “Prince of Darkness” played flawlessly by Billy Zane. There’s a lot of cover in a pilot, so let’s dive in (see what I did there?).

Supernatural Confirmed for a Sixth Season

photo: cw

It looks like the apocalypse may take a little longer than previously planned. It was announced today by CinemaSpy that the CW’s hit show has been renewed for a sixth season.

Previously season five was believed to be the last as Supernatural creator Eric Kripke said his apocalyptic storyline would only last through the fifth season. But it seems he’s found something else for the Winchester brothers to fight, or else Lucifer’s just going to be a little trickier to defeat.

At any rate, it looks like we can count on Dean and Sam kicking demon butt for another year. Whether or not this is a good thing is a matter of opinion. Can Dean and Sam really top beating the devil? Or are they just going to dawdle a bit on the way? Either way, I don’t think you’ll hear many of us complaining about having to watch the Winchesters for a little bit longer.

30 Rock – Recap & Review – Winter Madness

30 Rock
Winter Madness

Original Air Date: Jan 21, 2010

Laura Kelley-Associate Staff Writer
laurakelley@thetwocentscorp.com

Everybody at TGS is seriously frustrated with the winter weather, especially Liz, because “you can do some serious subway flirting before you realize the guy’s homeless.” Kenneth claims he has “winter madness,” and given what little we know about Kenneth’s past as a possibly immortal creature who sees in muppet vision and has whittled teeth, could be bad. Jack’s unrequited love Nancy still hasn’t told him if she’s getting a divorce, but luckily for everyone, Pete has a plan to fix everything: take the show on the road to Miami.
