… John Cena & James Roday, Actors

They seem an unlikely combination: one wrestles people for a living and the other has a fascination with 80’s pop music. Yet they make an interesting duo.

In the spring premiere episode of Psych, airing tonight, Wednesday, January 27 at 10 PM, John Cena (The Marine) guest-stars and gets wrapped up in the newest case for Shawn (star James Roday) & Gus. Cena and Roday joined us to talk about…well, a little bit of everything.

How I Met Your J-Lo

lopez

Before heading over to Glee, Jennifer Lopez is stopping in over at How I Met Your Mother.

Lopez will play Anita Appleby, a no-nonsense author of self-help books that teach women how to train men into relationship machines through the power of denial. When Robin tells Anita how Barney acts toward women, she makes it her mission to “break” him. The episode will air in March of this year.

“We couldn’t be more excited about Jennifer Lopez joining us on HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER,” says Executive Producer and Co-Creator Carter Bays . “We’re looking forward to a week of revealing outfits and sexy dance moves the likes of which this show hasn’t seen since Regis Philbin guest starred.”

Don’t play in the street. At least, that’s a lesson Danny Cooper didn’t learn. He’s running from a Russian hitman out to kill him. As it turns out, Danny is an old friend of Chance, who’s out to help Danny’s brother avenge his death – even if it means sneaking into a function at the Russian Embassy. Fun times!

Peter Burke can’t resist small children. That’s how he and Neal get roped into an apparent mortgage fraud case involving a house being foreclosed on and a detective who chose early retirement over pursuing the truth. A tip from said detective leads them to a possibly corrupt district court judge, but that’s not going to stop Peter from defending small children. Especially when it turns out said judge knows Fowler, the FBI agent who’s got Kate and has it out for the both of them.

Did AI producers worry that they had been too easy on us lately? Because that would explain why the LA auditions focused way more on the crazies than the good singers. Only five Golden Ticket winners were given real screen time — that’s one every 10 minutes.

That makes for a looong 10 minutes! Especially because by the 45 minute mark, only three had tickets in hand. But surprisingly, there were 23 given out — some of which we saw in a last minute montage.

Valerie is a high powered exec. She’s hot, she’s got an ugly, rich husband. She’s also a psychopath. You know House is all over this.

Jackie Earle Haley, Human Target

Strange Bedfellows

Thomas Nikl – Staff Writer

Bill is in Washington DC looking for the endorsement from a Congressman- and apparently he brought Nicki and his daughter. Margie stayed back at home where she’s getting a shot at prime time with her home shopping career. Man, Margie looks HOT! Barb stayed behind, too, and Sarah stops by randomly to say hello so they jet off to the Casino together because Sarah hasn’t seen it. Margie asks Barb to come watch her on primetime but Barb is busy, and Nickie and Bill are in DC, and Margie is feeling a little neglected. And…Bill’s trip is off to a bad start- sounds like the congressman canceled on him and he is none to happy about it. Let’s see what other drama goes on this week, shall we?
