FOX Cancels “Past Life”

FOX has canceled the new show Past Life.

From TVSquad.com: This is one of those shows that you just knew was doomed before it even aired the first episode. It got horrible reviews, it was a midseason thing, it didn’t get any buzz, it seemed like a copy of other shows that have been on recently, and it was on FOX. When the show premiered FOX should have run promos that said, “don’t miss next week’s premiere of the short-lived new series ‘Past Life!'” The remaining episodes will be shown later this year some time.

So, for those of you who keep up with all of my reviews, I’ve got some awesome news. This week at the NASCAR Nationwide Series race, our favorite doctor Addison Montgomery (aka Kate Walsh) will be the Grand Marshal at the Stater Bros. 300 at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA. I’m hoping it will bring some attention to the show but I doubt it.

What will bring attention to the show is a wedding. And this week is little Maya’s wedding and Naomi is still not on board. Will she hop on the wedding train before her daughter walks down the isle? Oh, and what are Pete and Addy doing??

The Excelsior is a new “rigid airship” that hopes to avoid the pitfalls of the Hindenburg by replacing the hydrogen with non-flammable helium. Since there has been a bomb threat, Captain Lammers has come to ISIS.

You knew it was coming. Every show does it. But I don’t think I expected a flashback episode that revealed so much with such little detail. I was expecting some big storyline where Little Meredith saw the Chief and her mother running around town together or us getting to see Izzie growing up in her trailer.

What we got was the most interesting flashback episode of a show I think I’ve ever seen. Three flashbacks – THREE – is all it took for my jaw to hit the ground.

Will They Stay Or Will They Go?

Springtime is that time of year when the flowers are blooming and television shows are beginning to get into the depth of their storylines before wrapping up around May.

It’s also an important time because it’s usually when networks decide what shows will come back next year. Three sources came together – Entertainment Weekly, The Wrap and The Hollywood Reporter and have put out a list of which shows may stay or go (and confirmation of certain ones).

Once again, Henry Spencer is here to make us feel better about our own childhoods. I’m sure we all hated getting lice as a kid, but how many of us got hosed off in the front yard for it?

Little Shawn gets his revenge, though, by giving Henry lice, too. Meanwhile, in the present, a woman comes lurching into a store. I’m guessing she’s going to be important later on!
