After 3 and-a-half months of waiting, welcome back to FlashForward! When we last left off, Lloyd was apparently being kidnapped. And then there are the issues with him, Mark, and Olivia, the fact Demetri is still fated to die according to his vision, Janis’s possibly upcoming pregnancy, Bryce’s illness and the whole thing with Keiko, what Simon’s up to, and Sanford, and…let’s just get started.

As I was preparing to watch this episode, and realized it was another episode focusing on a class, I couldn’t help but wonder…what semester are these guys on? How many hours are they taking? It seems like with the exception of Spanish, there’s a new or different class every episode. My T.V. brain can accept this but the logical part is trying to make sense of it all. But speaking of classes, it’s time to observe two more.

Gary Unmarried?

The time has come. With sadness in my heart and a lump in my throat (and with 99% certainty but holding out 1% hope…), it appears I am writing my final Gary Unmarried review. We have spent two and a half years (although it feels like much more) with my favorite single father on television, and while this episode is booked as the season finale, websites and magazines are saying it is the series finale. In the preview, we find out Gary and Allison’s divorce was never finalized. If this is actually the series finale, the title is appropriate and I would hope they close the book on it nicely (as they did on NUMB3RS, which was in a similar situation as GU).

However, shortly before the show aired, I got an instant message from a friend saying I am gonna want to throw something at my television over the ending. Knowing that, and having already watched the episode (I chose to throw my pillow against a wall so nothing would break), I present to you … Gary Unmarried?

Tonight FlashForward returns with new episodes on ABC.

Following up with yesterday’s Q&A with some of the cast of FlashForward, we present the finale of our exclusive set visit to the set of FlashForward. Enjoy!

Joseph Fiennes (Mark Benford)
On how he maintains his American accent for the series: “As long as I’m not with too many Brits, and we’re not talking before I’m filming, it’s okay. I’m used to having a dialect coach next to me [in film], so it’s been quite a test not to have that security blanket.”

Is it possible that there’s a roommate curse on Idol? Kate Epperling thought so when she and her roommate, Lilly Scott, were eliminated on the same night. Same for Alex Lambert and Todrick Hall. And Janelle Wheeler and Michelle Delamor.

And tonight, roomies Lacey Brown and Paige Miller landed in the dreaded Bottom 3, along with Tim Urban. Conspiracy? You decide.

Meanwhile, this results show had some major advantages. First, there was no group lip-synced musical number! (Scream your joy here.)

It’s a sign of a good show when you can’t wait to see the next episode, so you watch it more than a week early. It’s a sign of a good episode that even though you’ve seen it, you want to watch it again just because it’s airing.

This is that episode.

Allrighty, let’s just get things started…the preview shows Naomi and Ivy getting in a fight and we all know it’s gonna be over Liam, so I’ll make this introduction quick. Previously, our lovely gang was all into the drama. Teddy likes Silver but she kissed Dixon and Dixon lied to Teddy about him and Silver, Liam and Naomi have no chemistry except in the sack (er, boat in their case), Navid’s plan to get Jasper caught with drugs backfired on him and he was the one caught instead, Dixon told Debbie he wanted to find his birth mother, Jasper blackmailed Annie into dating him again and I think we’re about caught up.

Have you heard? TNT has NOT picked up this amazing show yet for more than the 8 episodes that have been shot for season two. I will be seriously heartbroken if this show doesn’t get picked up. It’s already been canceled once, they can’t cancel it twice. It’s amazing and has a true loyal fanbase.

Okay, so enough about that … this week gets serious: Sherman will ride alone for the first time. We knew it was coming and the previews make it look seriously amazing. Then again, is anything on this show ever not amazing (okay, Clarke getting shot wasn’t so great, but it made for some great television…)? Allrighty, on with the show!
