“Robert Culp, who perfected a suave cleverness most famously as Bill Cosby’s partner in espionage in the TV series I Spy, died on Wednesday after a fall in his Hollywood home. He was 79. Culp in his prime had twinkling eyes, a sly smile, and a rapid, crisp way of delivering a line: he seemed to be a hyper-articulate wiseguy, a charming devil, whether he was playing tennis-pro Kelly Robinson in I Spy (1965-68) or simply himself on a talk- or game-show.”

In the “Hell-o” episode, GLEE picks up as New Directions is fresh off their monumental win at Sectionals and feeling on top of the world. With an extra spring in their step, they get to work on new numbers for Regionals – incuding a memorable rendition of The Beatles’ “Hello, Goodbye.” But when RACHEL (Lea Michele) and FINN’s (Cory Monteith) budding romance hits a bump in the road after she becomes involved with a competitor, JESSE ST. JAMES (guest star Groff), it threatens to derail the entire club. MR. SCHUESTER (Matthew Morrison) pays a visit to SHELBY CORCORAN (guest star Menzel), coach of Vocal Adrenaline, to confirm Jesse’s motives.

Guess what, guys? You can stop crying yourselves to sleep every Thursday night. “The Vampire Diaries” are FINALLY back after a century long hiatus, and last night’s episode was AWESOME…Ish? Hm. Remember the final image of that sketchy Civil War vamp escaping the tomb from the last episode?
What about the shocking revelation that Katherine is alive and kickin’, or that Alaric Saltzman’s wife could possibly be Elena’s birth mother? Well, some even juicer stuff went down last night, so gather ‘round kiddies and I’ll tell you all the drama.

Not everyone in this cemetery has quite resigned himself to eternal sleep. A man digs his way out of a grave in a storm, slowly, painstakingly. Nearby, a mullet-clad trailer-dweller watches a nature show in his trailer, before a grave-coated zombie breaks in and kills him.
Well, he probably deserved it. Come on, he had a mullet!

Gosh, you know, this has me full of predictions and thoughts about the upcoming season. I know what Charlaine Harris wrote in Club Dead, which is third in the series, but as I have learned (very loudly and angrily, I grant you that) one cannot base expectations on the books. (See? I’m learning and growing as a person!) I think that I’m going to put together some thoughts about this sometime between now and June 13th and you do the same and then we’ll discuss. Sound good? Wow. This episode featured a smart move by one tribe and a dumb move by the other and you didn’t see either one coming. As an added surprise, the dumb move came from a Villain and the smart move came from the Heroes.

Last we saw her, she was fighting Fate’s schemes to marry her off to Wesley Snipes, the foot cycle-riding Englishman, and now Floyd’s back. But there’s a catch…he’s in New York to get married on the Today Show. This is worse than when Liz met that guy on the dating section of the Kraft Foods website. Wait, that just happened!

One thing you may have noticed last week was that for all we did see, there were also a lot of storylines we didn’t get any progress on. We see bits of what’s already happened in several of these- Aaron and the return of Tracy, Demetri’s unknown fate, and Janis’s pregnancy in particular.
