We’re back for week two. All eleven stars have returned to dance a second time. This week dancing either the Fox Trot or the Jive. There was a lot of tension between the stars and their pro partners as they struggled with having to learn a new dance in just four days. However, not all suffered as two 10s were given out this week. Read on to find out who got the 10s and who struggled.

The Amazing Race – Recap & Review – Anonymous?

Anonymous?

The ‘Stache Bros have been on top for I don’t even remember how long while Caite and Brent can’t catch a break (or stop whining). This week, I wonder if anyone can stop the undercover cops (or if not, what other cool prize they win) and what makes Brent threaten to quit. Either way, things should be interesting when everyone is stranded on an island in the middle of nowhere … together. Departure times won’t matter since there is one flight in and one flight out. And for those who have been long time fans, it appears that broken oxes are back!

Family Guy – Recap & Review – Brian Griffin’s House of Payne

Family Guy
Brian Griffin’s House of Payne”

Original Air Date: Mar 28, 2010

Thomas Nikl – Staff Writer
thomas@thetwocentscorps.com

The episode starts out with Stewie and Rupert flying around in space fighting off evil space invaders (a la Star Wars) who evidently launch from their home base which is a death star in the shape of Peter’s face. Stewie launches some torpedoes into an air duct or something to take out the Peter-Faced-Death-Star. Soon we see that Stewie is just smashing a toy space ship into Peter’s face. Haha. Soon Peter banishes Stewie to the basement and Stewie starts going through a bunch of Brian’s old boxes. He finds a script for a television show that Brian wrote. Brian tries to get Lois to write it but she doesn’t seem to want to read it. LOL. She finally does and she likes it- or she says she does- and enlists her Dad to help Brian get it on CBS. The execs and CBS love it!

Cold Case – Recap & Review – The Last Drive-In

Cold Case
The Last Drive-In

Original Air Date: Mar 28, 2010

Amanda – Sr. Reviewer

Ingredients for an interesting, but weird episode of Cold Case. One badass FBI agent with a personal agenda and a flagrant disregard for protocol, one detective in Psych, one gratuitous mention of an out-of-character movie, one lieutenant with an apparently steamy past…and one serial sniper, who’s back in the game after 27 years of retirement.  Blend, but not too carefully, lest the aforementioned FBI agent fail to be the star of the show.  Make sure the regulars fade into the background at all times.  Bake for one hour on Sunday night, and enjoy.  Maybe.  We’ll see about that.

Pulling the Plug

One of my favorite things in television is when storylines are continuous and consistent. This week is a perfect example of this. The show is going to pick up where we left off with the surrogate mother in a coma, Naomi dealing with thinking Addison and Sam are together, Pete and Addison actually being together despite being in love with other people, Violet still being gone, Addison hating Vanessa (both professionally and personally), Sheldon and Charlotte having their fling, the aftermath of Fife and Naomi’s kiss despite her being with William (and his having ALS but she doesn’t know) and who knows what else. All I know is that this is probably going to be one very good episode. I can feel it in my bones.

Grey’s Anatomy – Recap & Review – Suicide Is Painless

Suicide Is Painless

We’ve seen a lot of flashbacks on Grey’s Anatomy and we’ve also wondered about Owen’s time in Iraq. But the previews for this week’s previews are nothing short of intense. While Owen went to therapy to deal with some PTSD issues he had after choking Cristina when he had nightmares of still being over there, it’s obvious memories still linger. I predict we will also find out a lot about Owen and Teddy’s relationship during this episode.
