Once again, patient care took a backseat to hospital business. However, this hour had more momentum, more emotion, and most importantly faster pacing than last week’s outing. Hopefully going forward they can move out of the business meetings and back into the supply closets, the on-call rooms, and maybe even bedrooms.

We never did get a name for the incorporation of the five doctors trying to buy the hospital, so hence forth I shall call them The Flying Five, as they only are in this predicament because of the plane crash. Is it a little morbid? Sure. But the dark and twisty sisters are part of it, so it’s somewhat fitting.

Law & Order: SVU
Deadly Ambition

Original Air Date: Feb 20, 2013

Caitlin – Senior Staff Writer

It’s always fun when SVU plunges straight into action. The only thing is, this action is part of a training sequence. It’s the first time I can ever remember the characters participating in such a thing. Better late than never, I guess?

The episode focuses on Amanda, whose sister Kim is back in town. She shares the good news that she’s pregnant. At least, she calls it good news. Overall, it would probably be better if the father weren’t a man who just hit her across the face.

It’s Sudden Death at the Mirage in Vegas. This year, it’s a little different. Ten contestants sing, then only five are chosen to go on. As the judges could split the vote, the tie breaker is producer/vocal coach Jimmy Iovine.

The first round is the women and they sang in front of an audience. The judges didn’t tell which contestants would be continuing on until the very end.

Bad Hair Day

Wyner C – Senior Reviewer
wyner@thetwocentscorp.com

Our past is our past. We might wonder “what ifs” but our life is our chosen path – we’ve decided this is our course. Sometimes, when the opportunity arises, we might try to peek into the “alternative life”.

Claire is going to her college reunion sans Phil who is preparing for a bowling tournament with Jay. Unfortunately, Jay calls to boot Phil for a better player so Dunphy goes to the reunion. He meets Claire’s ex, the one that dumped her – a professor with a (fake/pretentious) British accent.
