The anticipation has been building for months and so, when Glee returned, it didn’t quite fulfill all the imaginary episodes in my head. However, it did answer those annoying question the mid-winter finale left us with:

How does Sue get reinstated at McKinley High (and make no mistake, she had to be)?

Is Glee Club safe now that it won regionals?

Will Finn and Rachel really get together?

What happened after Will and Emma kissed?

Revenge Makeover

Caitlin- Senior Reviewer

Getting towards the end of the season, the writers seem to be cramming as much into episodes as possible. Tonight features Barb being up for citizenship, a return by Papa Jeff, a planned surprise wedding, ruined hair, compete makeovers, fights, and attempts at revenge that actually provide this week’s title.

Cougar Town – Recap & Review – Wake Up Time

So Travis is going to have his big first break up. What will that do to Jules (besides make her want to kill Kylie)? Sara is still around, but we all know that won’t last for long, considering Jules and Grayson are so meant to be. But how long will it take Sara (or Jules and Grayson) to figure this out? What funny things will Barb say this week, what bromantic stuff will Andy and Bobby do and what odd remarks will Laurie make? Let’s see…

One of the best things about this episode of Justified is that no shots are fired. While Raylan has a standoff with the wife of fugitive Wilson Toomey, he never draws his gun, even with a shotgun aimed between his eyes. Also nice to see him and Ava breaking the walls between them. But while it is a decent enough episode, it just feels like some opportunities fell a little short.

Tonight’s recap is brought to you courtesy of Nyquil and sniffles! It’s really hard to watch sunny, gorgeous Beverley Hills beaches while I’m cooped up with a cold, but I’ll quit my whining and get to the story!

Tonight Naomi crashes and burns, Dixon and Ivy graduate from fake dating to almost dating, Ade and Navid inch closer (back) together, and Laurel is quite possibly the worst mom ever (which is saying a lot, considering the parents on this show!).

Torture, confessions, and John May lives! In this week’s episode we learn a little more about the legendary John May and the things that truly matter – taking a secret to the grave, confessing a painful truth to someone you love, or protecting something greater than yourself.

We find our small band of resistance fighters with a dilemma, Georgie is still on the Mother ship and they are not about to leave one of their own behind.

American Idol
Top 9 Again

Original Air Date: Apr 13, 2010

Patricia Morris Buckley — Staff Writer

Did we just see a version of American Idol set in an alternate universe? Did Fringe do an Idol episode? Only that would explain why Tim Urban gave one of the best performances of the night.

The kid seriously has a chance of getting into the final 5. See what I mean? It’s like we’ve stepped into a different dimension.

Gossip Girl – Recap & Review – The Unblairable Lightness of Being

The Unblairable Lightness of Being

Valeria – Staff Reviewer

The Gossip Girl writers are returning to their roots. At the end of the latest episode, there’s a delicious tease of the debauchery and drama of the first season – except probably more depressing and with a more annoying version of Jenny.

But first, Dorota and Vanya are getting married! It’s a quick, yet elegant, shotgun wedding thrown together by everyone in the fam – Blair, Chuck, Eleanor, Cyrus, Rufus.   Alas, while one relationship blossoms, others reach their demise.

Laura Kelley – Associate Staff Writer

Lost continued its string of surprisingly good episodes this week with “Everybody Loves Hugo,” which was probably the most accurate episode title of anything ever. This episode had some major surprises including the death of a significant character, which was a shock if you haven’t been reading spoilers. On a related note, I really have got to stop reading spoilers.
