Season four will premiere Sunday, July 25th at 10 P.M./9 central.

AMC’s “Mad Men” made history in 2008 and 2009 as the only cable series to win back-to-back Outstanding Drama Emmy(R) Awards and the only series to win the Golden Globe(R) for Best Drama for three consecutive years.

It burst onto the scene when it debuted on AMC in July 2007 and continues to be one of the most talked about shows on television. Created by Emmy and Globe-winner Matthew Weiner, “Mad Men” follows the lives of the ruthlessly competitive men and women of Madison Avenue advertising.

“Is it worth it?”

While Ellen never gets an answer from Patty, it’s a question that bears asking from viewers of any show. The production company invests their money, the writers and the actors invest their talent, and the viewers invest their time and concentration.

So whether you have been watching Damages struggle with ratings or seen According to Jim get sold into syndication for years to come, the question remains. Is it worth it?

It’s movie night and the stars danced to music from major motion pictures. There are no specific dances – they performed the dances that suited the movie they were given. In other words, we see it all: Jives, Quick Steps, Rumbas, Fox Trots, Tangos.

So who came out on top and who flopped? Read on to find out…

I think there’s something seriously wrong with me – or with this show – when the only interesting part of the “previously on” montage is Cole shoving a gun into Dana’s throat. But hey, we’ve got seven more hours left to turn things up a notch, don’t we?

Of course, we have to start with Jack all upset over Renee’s still-cooling corpse. This serves only to show us that A) he really knows next to nothing about her and B) he’s totally messed up in the head. As if we had any doubt that he would be messed up after having yet another person he cared for die on him.

The Tudors – Recap & Review – Episode 2

The Tudors
Episode 2

Original Air Date: Apr 18, 2010

Thomas Nikl – Staff Writer

We’re off to a “romantic” start (for lack of a better word). The new kid in town who likes to have his way with women (who are not always consenting) seems to be like a sex addict. He multi-tasks eye-boinking the new Queen while having a flirty conversation with Lady Rotchford (George Boleyn’s former wife prior to his beheading). Then remember the Queen’s uncle, Thomas Howard, who had the affair with the married chick last episode? He seems a bit butt hurt that he didn’t get a return booty call request. She explains her husband is close to the King and he explains that he is closer. Out with the old in with the new. But soon after her husband is invited to talk with the King who gives him a new position: Lieutenant General of the Northern Army. The King wants the Scottish incursions into England to stop, and gives him permission to use whatever force necessary if needed.

TwoCents and Five Questions with Annie Wersching

Annie Wersching, Actor

With her debut in Season 7 of 24, Renee Walker emerged as the show’s last good heroine – an FBI agent straight-laced and out to do the right thing. After spending a harrowing day alongside Jack Bauer, though, Renee quickly turned to the dark side, and emerged in Season 8 a broken person with a big chip on her shoulder.

No sooner had the writers paired her with Jack then they killed her off. The actress behind Renee, Annie Wersching, sat down with us Thursday to speak out after her demise.

TheTwoCents: Let’s backtrack for a bit. In Season 7, you had fabulous chemistry with Larry Moss (Jeffrey Nordling) and it was intimated you two had a past, but the show never made that clear. Did you ever figure it out or make up what it might have been?

It feels like ages since we’ve seen what our housewives are up to. Oh how I’ve missed them. In the previews leading up this episode, we see someone digging what is presumably a grave.

It’s been a long time coming, but could we actually be finding out who is behind Julie’s attack and the murder of the coffee shop girl? Read on to find out what we learn…

We learned so much last week. I think my brain burst a little bit, even. Nora was helping keep William’s secret (actually, Kevin’s) for over 25 years, Kevin began dealing with something he did as a young teen (and stopped talking to Nora), Holly and Nora joined forces to find Narrow Lake (aka Nora Walker), Justin and Rebecca got married, Michelle gave it a second round at getting pregnant for Scotty and Kevin (although off screen), Tommy stuck around, Kitty is Cancer-free and York is still around creeping everyone out. This week it’s Kevin’s birthday and he refuses to go to his own birthday party. But more importantly, we might get to find out what big secret job Robert might get.
