Well, the time has come. It’s the last leg. The final three will sprint to the finish for the $1 million and the honor of being the winners of The Amazing Race 16. Since Michael/Louie were eliminated last week, I picked the Cowboys to win (Oh my gravy!).

As usual, we’ll know by the 20-30 minute mark which team won’t be even going for the win (there’s always that one team that sucks in the final 3) and I am hoping it’s Caite/Brent. Let’s see, shall we? (Also, I renamed the teams just for finale … hope you enjoy them!)

This is the last episode before next week’s season finale, so things should start getting exciting. Last week, Patrick revealed himself to Angie, Eddie started to reveal his darker side to Lynette and Sam revealed his dark side to Bree.

This week we find out just exactly what Patrick wants from Angie and what Sam wants from Bree. And, since this is Desperate Housewives, you know it won’t be good.

Well, we’re off to a good start so far. Brian is going to a conference so he says goodbye to Peter and Lois. They think he’s leaving for good and they kind of luke warmly wish him well. Brian is a little surprised at how easily they’re willing to part with him. It was enjoyable. And next we find out that Quagmire’s Dad is staying with him.

He makes a pretty funny entrance than starts telling a little story. Peter and Joe begin to text about just how gay Quagmire’s Dad is!! haha. This should be a good episode, I hope. Let’s see where they take this! Follow me, readers…

Betty White Brings in the Ratings for Saturday Night Live

betty white and jay-z brought in the ratings

NBC should send Facebook some flowers for the idea of having Betty White as a host. TVGuide reports that White’s hosting debut was the top program of the night, besting prime time programming and bringing in SNL’s biggest audience in almost 18 months.

Early estimates show the episode, also featuring Jay-Z as musical guest, received an 8.8 rating/21, while also earning a 5.1 rating in the coveted 18-to-49 demographic. The only episode to receive higher was the Ben Affleck hosted November 1, 2008 episode, which guest-starred then presidential candidate John McCain and Tina Fey as Sarah Palin.

After a one-week hiatus for me to go watch my beloved baseball team, we’re back, Whovians! And we’re back with Alex Kingston, who’s been a busy woman this week (she also returned to FlashForward) with her space blowtorch and Barbie hair.

Meanwhile, the Doctor stumbles across her exploits via the space version of an airplane’s black box, and of course can’t leave well enough alone, surprising no one.

Our reluctant heroes aboard the Destiny have now entered the void. They’re traveling through the space between galaxies, without a way of replenishing their food and water supplies, and without a hope for rescuing their lost crew members.

Just when you think it can’t get worse, of course, it does. Turns out, Destiny doesn’t have enough to get across the void.

It seems my wish of involving the girls and their burgeoning powers was granted last week, and maybe this week too? Tonight we open onto Bridget banging on the bathroom door when Ariel refuses to come out, when Joe gets the door open, Ariel is a very, very old woman.

And Allison wakes up.
