Another one-shot story this week but it looks to be an intense one:

Mac and Aubrey are out on a date when they come across an injured boy, he looks to have been shot. Mac sees a younger boy, his hands and t-shirt covered in blood. He’s the victim’s younger brother.

Duct tape is like the force. It has a dark side. It has a light side. And it binds the universe together. But can you build a bridge out of it? The Mythbusters have already shown that duct tape is versatile stuff. You can lift a car with it. You can use it to build a boat and a canon. You can even use it to tape Adam to a board and hang him upside down.

Tonight we find out if you can repair your car, build a bridge, and stop a car, all with duct tape.

It is always fun when there is a witness who also happens to be a criminal. This week we have Natalie, a scam artist working with her boyfriend for the Russian mob. All of which occurs in Stockton, CA, in a valley of foreclosed on homes. Naturally, the FBI gets involved and so does our old friend Mike Faber.

The scam is actually simplistic in its structure. Natalie and her boyfriend break into foreclosed on homes. She then poses as a realtor, sells the house, takes the money and disappears.

American Idol – Recap & Review – Top 4 Results

Top 4 Results

As there are fewer and fewer contestants, it gets harder and harder to say goodbye to the remaining singers. Now, with only four left, it’s beyond tough, even in a season that’s as lackluster as this one.

And this cut is the deepest because the top 3 get to return to their hometowns for parades, mayoral proclamations and cheering crowds. The contestant who comes in fourth doesn’t even get a lovely parting gift.

Fox Renews Human Target and Lie to Me

human target receives the call for renewal

A short season is better than no season at all.

No official word has been given, however EW’s Michael Ausiello reports that Fox is very close to renewing both Human Target and Lie to Me.

Both dramas are expected to have a 13 episode pickup, which should bring fans at the edge of their seats a sigh of relief.

The New Adventures of Old Christine
Get Smarter

It’s the season finale of Old Christine, and CBS has yet to confirm whether the show will be coming back next fall. ABC might pick it up if they cancel it, so chances are it’ll be on somewhere, but still.

This episode could, feasibly, work as a series finale if necessary. Christine learns that Max’s ex-wife (of course he has an ex-wife) is smarter than her, and decides to change her own life for the better. Well, eventually she does.

Ok, we finally know who won the contest between Alicia and Cary. It’s…

Nah, not going to tell you right away. I’m just that kind of recapper. First, let’s follow the latest case. The firm’s divorce attorney, David Lee, calls in Alicia to help with Olivia Lyons, who is being put out to pasture by her hubbie, rock star Max Lyons. David is just using Alicia’s notoriety, but she doesn’t seem to mind.

“You’re a good man.”
“Not good enough.”

Yes, the title is correct. Raylan Givens loses his hat. And a fight. Welcome to a hero’s life on FX, where feet of clay are standard issue.

On a recommended “vacation”, Raylan waits for Winona in a seedy bar, where two men sit jawing about their women. Raylan takes issue, and the three head outside.

The back nine are almost over and the episodes have been getting better and better. Last week, I think I literally died and went to musical-television show heaven (okay, so there aren’t many shows to choose from, but it was so good I refuse to take it out of my DVR).

But then, it happened: previews for what may be the two best moments to hit Glee … Rachel loses her voice and Puck loses his Mohawk! Mix that with Kurt making out with Brittany (I’m not making this up) and I was excited. Very excited.
