Here’s the low-down for this episode: Russell hates and lacks respect for women. He’d like to be taken seriously as a strategic player but votes emotionally as often as anyone else.

Also, Family Members! Also, also, Colby almost completely disappears for the entire episode.

The Office – Recap & Review – The Chump

Michael is angry about his breakup with Donna and takes it out on the radon testers Toby’s placed in his office. Then he gets the staff invested in a hypothetical case of how they would each kill Toby. Poor Toby.

Pam is running a “Keep Michael Happy” campaign. Everyone needs to be happy, laugh at Michael’s jokes, and do not, under any circumstances empathize with him. Erin brings in a bunch of pints of Eagles themed ice cream for Michael. Pam is usually the one to run the Michael-based operations, but she was up all night with Cece and isn’t at the top of her game. Erin helpfully adds that she probably shouldn’t keep a baby up that late. Thanks, Erin.

Fringe – Recap & Review – Over There, Part I

Fringe
Over There, Part I

Original Air Date: May 13, 2010

We open in Fringe Division Headquarters… wait a minute… Fringe Division has an HQ? And is that Charlie? Cool… we’re Over There. FD army descends upon a concert hall where there has been a “breach” causing a huge tear in reality. It is decided that a hole this big could warrant a “quarantine,” which is Other Lingo for a bomb that would seal up the breach (and take upwards of 10,000 casualties with it). Other Astrid is called into Other Broyles’ office to see if the quarantine is necessary. She goes all cyborg and analyzes the data. The breach is reversing; no need for the quarantine bomb.

Without the threat of annihilation, FD finds a guy in the balcony of the concert hall who is absolutely covered in cancerous carcinomas. Sounds familiar. What is even stranger is the money in his wallet. The bill has the picture of some guy named Andrew Jackson on it. Then we see Our Olivia, Other Walter, and two other people slip out of the balcony undetected. Sweet. They are Over There!

Finally….the Gravedigger goes to trial but the Squint team needs to find enough evidence to put her away for good.

It seems that the majority of the evidence in Brennen and Hodgins case is dismissed because they were the victims and also handled the evidence, which is a no no in the legal world.

Drop Dead Diva Returns June 6

diva drops june 6

After an excruciating 7-month wait, Drop Dead Diva’s second season will finally premiere on Lifetime on Sunday, June 6th (9:00 EST)!

First of all, the show has some amazing guest stars lined up: Rosie O’Donnell, David Denman, Sharon Lawrence, and Faith Prince will all be returning, as well as Paula Abdul, who kicks off the dream sequence dancing in the season premiere.

We’ll also see some new stars pop by, including Ricki Lake, Vivica A Fox, Chad Lowe, Nancy Grace, Kellie Martin, and David Sutcliffe. And don’t think I forgot my favorite, Devon Gummersall, who shocked us in the finale by showing up as Jane’s formerly unknown husband.

This week on 30 Rock, Jack’s other girlfriend Nancy returned, and Liz decided to go through all her old boyfriends to find a date to a wedding. Since Colleen Donaghy told her last episode she had already met the man she should settle for, Liz decided to figure out who he was.

I was really hoping for Dennis, he of the meatball sandwiches and “To Catch a Predator.”

This is the end… my only friend, the end…

This story/season’s end is channeled through the story of the Impala, as told by Chuck, who would be the greatest living authority besides Dean and Sam, I suppose. We are given a look at some interesting but seemingly irrelevant details about the car’s history, such as Sam’s army man and Dean’s legos. Cute, but let’s get to the showdown, shall we?
