CBS announced today its new 2010-2011 primetime schedule and the addition of five new series, including three dramas and two comedies, and key scheduling moves to enhance America’s most watched lineup.

The new series includes an updated take on the classic series HAWAII FIVE-0; comedic drama THE DEFENDERS starring Jim Belushi and Jerry O’Connell as colorful Las Vegas defense attorneys; drama BLUE BLOODS about a family of NYPD cops starring Tom Selleck and Donnie Wahlberg; a Twitter-inspired comedy, $#*! American Idol
Top 3

Original Air Date: May 18, 2010

Patricia Morris Buckley – Staff Writer

For years, I have been arguing that American Idol isn’t fixed. But after tonight, I’m pretty sure it is.

Actually, I’ve had that feeling for a couple of weeks now. You see, about three weeks ago, I think the producers became a little nervous when the audience fell off. I think that’s because the end result seemed a little too obvious. The only contestant that consistently blew performances out of the ballpark was Crystal Bowersox.

Smell that in the air? That’s the smell of season finale week, and it’s coming next week. We’ve seen that Team Braverman has pulled together multiple times in the past, to help deal with Max’s autism, to help Sarah, to welcome Jabbar into the family and even the kids are rallying around their parents in their own ways.

Because this is finale season, you and I both know nothing will be happening quietly. There’s still Haddie and Amber to contend with, because I predicted a lot of screaming and by God, we didn’t get it last week so it must be this week. So, how will Team Braverman pull together exactly, when two families come to blows?

What They Died For

Original Air Date: May 18, 2010

Laura Kelley – Associate Staff Writer
laurakelley@thetwocentscorp.com

This was the last regular one hour episode of Lost, ever, and the last episode before Sunday’s monster series finale, an episode that will be so long and probably so dense that I will probably die attempting to review it for you fine people. (If I die, you know what to do. Pretend I’m Locke.)

And this week answered some questions and gave me a few more. We may have found out when the events back in LA are happening, but was the answer what you expected?

Annette – Sr. Reviewer

annette@thetwocentscorp.com

After last night’s rocking semi-finals, it’s time to say goodbye to one more star and reveal the three finalists. So will it play out as expected, or will America have voted off one of the top dancers in a shocking elimination?

Well, right off the bat, Evan and Anna learn they will be dancing next week. But the rest of the stars have to sweat it out as we watch some other people dance and sing.

Chuck
Chuck vs. The Living Dead

Original Air Date: May 17, 2010

Jeff L – Staff Writer
JeffL@thetwocentscorp.com

It looks like Chuck’s dreams of Superman being alive maybe more than just his subconscious bonding with the Intersect. Although everyone who matters (read everyone except Morgan) is certain Superman is dead – Chuck keeps having dreams about his girlfriend’s ex back from the dead.

Nobody checked his pulse? Chuck doesn’t want to tell Sarah about Superman and the dreams he’s having for fear that he’ll have to come clean about the Intersect eating his brain.
