In which Arthur gets beaten by a girl, Merlin and Arthur both crank their mommy/daddy issues up to 11, Uther still sucks a whole lot, Morgana does not discover that she has a sister, Igraine’s totally hot for being a zombie and everyone’s generally miserable.

Sorry I’m late with this, guys. My internet decided to roll over and die all weekend. Anyway, now that I’ve appropriately explained my tardiness, on with the show!

Last week on the Tudors King Henry made a new alliance with Spain to wage war against the French, and has also decided to take a new Queen, Catherine Parr. And the clergy has begun hunting down religious heretics again within the realm. The episode begins with a very aged-looking Henry planning the invasion of France. Charles, his long-time friend, is loyal as ever and ready to fight again. And soon we see the wedding of Henry and Catherine, where Catherine seems about as eager to marry Henry as I would be to eat Asparagus (I don’t like Asparagus).

TwoCents & Five Questions With Mary Lynn Rajskub

…Mary Lynn Rajskub, Actor

As 24 draws to a close in a two hour season finale (airing tonight on FOX), many of us will reflect on our favorite moments during the shows long run. More than likely some of those moments will involve Chloe, played to quirky perfection by Mary Lynn Rajskub.

We had a chance to talk with Mary Lynn during a conference call, where she shared her thoughts on her favorite moments and why Chloe seemed to click with the audience. Here are some of the highlights:

TheTwoCents: Chloe O’Brian’s a very quirky character, and you’re known for injecting a lot of humor, definitely intentionally I’m sure in some cases intentionally with the character. Can you talk about how much of your own personality you put into Chloe and if you and the producers and even the writers, how do you all discuss trying to interweave Chloe’s quirky personality that creates a little bit of comedy with the serious gravity of what’s going on in the show, presidential assassinations and nuclear bombs?

LOST’s Alternative Endings

Jimmy Kimmel Live hosted an Aloha to Lost special after last night’s series finale. Part of the show were some much hyped alternate endings to the show. Many believed these were real possible endings, however, if you stopped to think about Jimmy Kimmel – you know these would be silly! Enjoy.

Lost
The End (SERIES FINALE)

Original Air Date: May 23, 2010

Laura Kelley – Associate Staff Writer

I will be totally honest with you guys: I’m crying right now while I’m typing this. Lost has been a hell of a ride, and it’s over, and I feel like I’ve been punched in the face with sadness as well as just plain punched in the face. But we’ll get to both of the reasons why.

I didn’t know what to expect when I sat down to watch the last episode of a show I’ve loved and hated over the past few years, and I don’t know what exactly you all were looking for, but in some ways I feel like the ending delivered and in a lot of ways I feel like this long-anticipated final episode did anything but that. Recap after the jump to avoid spoilers, but I’ll post one initial reaction in this intro: holy crap, Vincent is back!

Doctor Who
Vampires In Venice

Brittany Frederick – Staff Writer

I don’t know about you, but I am so, so sick of vampires. They are just completely overdone and not even well done in anything I’ve seen post-Buffy and Angel, so tell me that Doctor Who involves vampires and I’m going to roll my eyes from the start.

Especially when the episode also involves the slightly awkward subplot of Amy’s fiancee’s bachelor party. At least it’s written by the guy who created Being Human?

My Two Cents – Saying Goodbye to Lost

Before this weekend is up fans will be saying goodbye to a show that has not only spawned water-cooler conversations around the world, but also the most heated debate about romantic pairings any television show has ever seen.

Hopefully that, along with a few other key note items will be addressed before 11:30 p.m. rolls around on Sunday night. As someone who has watched this show and suffered probable brain loss because of it, I couldn’t let it go without saying a few words.

LOST is truly a show that must be viewed in its entirety. I pity the person who thinks they’ll get away with having skipped a few episodes here and there and still hope to make sense of it all in the end. (Except for the episode about Jack and his tattoos, no one needs to see that one.) I was a late bloomer, in fact I didn’t want anything to do with it because it was being spun as a sci-fi type show and that just wasn’t my thing. Then, I fell in love with another sci-fi show (Battlestar Galactica to be exact) and figured why not? If I can love robots in space, why can’t I get behind people stuck on a deserted island? The result was a very serious addiction.
