TwoCents Reviewer: Tom R

Where We Left Off: Last season the gang exploited the mortgage crisis, hit the road, gave Frank an intervention, reignited the rivalry, and wrestled for the troops, while introducing us to Kitten Mittens and the D.E.N.N.I.S. System. Expect more outrageous juvenile antics from a show described as “Seinfeld on Crack”.

After much anticipation, the final season of Hannah Montana is here. Disney has come up with the clever name of Hannah Montana Forever, meaning that the show, while it may be ending soon, will go on forever. I happen to believe that this is true. I may be 23, but I find the storylines, music, and characters so exciting, and I’m not in any way ashamed to admit that I’m a fan of Miley Cyrus and her Hannah Montana character!

I wonder how many episodes start with the TARDIS crashing onto or into something. Including this one, which sees Eleven stranded in Essex when the TARDIS crash-lands, then takes off again with Amy still inside. Plus there’s something spooky on the top floor of a flat nearby. Of course there is, or we wouldn’t have a show, would we?

My So-Called Life – Summer DVD Review – Why Jordan Can’t Read

My So-Called Life
Why Jordan Can’t Read

Original Air Date: Oct 6,1994

Theresa – Staff Writer
theresa@thetwocentscorp.com

“Love is when you look into someone’s eyes, and suddenly you go all the way inside to their soul, and you both know… instantly.” – A great quote, though somewhat ironic. This episode has Angela thinking she knows a lot of things just because she knows one thing, and is one of the best episodes of the show.

Angela’s school is at an art museum on a field trip – something she analogizes to animals being let out of their cages. Of course, no one’s actually looking at the art. Sharon and Kyle are making out, Angela’s watching Jordan, Brian’s watching Angela, Rickie’s watching Rayanne (drink), and Rayanne’s flirting with the security guard.

Glee News: Britney Spears Episode Announced

glee planning britney episode

Britney Spears is the latest pop star to get the full Glee treatment. The Hollywood Reporter announced that Glee creator Ryan Murphy is planning an episode featuring a collection of Spears’ hit songs.

Last April, a Twitter campaign by Spears’ manager was started to get the pop singer an entire episode on the show, which now has proven to be successful. No word on whether Spears will make an appearance during the episode.

Spears will be following in the footsteps of two other female pop stars, Madonna and Lady Gaga, both of whom had episodes surrounding their music this past season.
