This week more people are in on the joke of this whole franchise (You can tell by the way they all camp it up.); Paquin’s accent is still reminiscent of pulling teeth; Eric and Lafayette get the best lines again; Jason says something oddly intelligent and the world doesn’t explode in a fiery ball of disbelief and confusion; Pam gets herself a little bit tortured, which is a crime against all things good and right in the world. Speaking of all things good and right in the world: Bill dumps Sookie’s sorry ass, Eric and Pam pin the V sales on Bill and Bill arranges to have Lorena put down as soon as possible.

In keeping with the general theme of this season, politics plays in rather largely this episode. Basically, everyone runs around trying to accomplish things, but are unable to because of things like treason and checks and balances and meanie law enforcement officials. It’s sort of like that time you went to the DMV for two hours and stood in nine lines and then had to go all the way across town to the police department because of that one stupid parking ticket and then went back to the DMV only to find they had closed early because it was a furlough day. What? Maybe that was just me then.

Program Description: Temperance Brennan is a forensic anthropologist that works with FBI Agent Seeley Booth to solve murders. Booth calls Temp “Bones” and have become best friends. At the Jeffersonian where Bones works, we also have the Squint Squad (as Booth calls them) that help in solving the murders.
Where We Left Off: Finally, Booth tells Bones how he feels about her (he loves her) but she can’t reciprocate the feelings back to him…she has them but just can’t go there. So Booth tells her that he can’t wait, and that he must move on. They need time away, and Bones goes to Indonesia with Daisy on a dig, and Booth is needed in Iraq and goes back into the Army. Meanwhile, Daisy broke up with Sweets. Hodgins and Angela got married and went to Paris. One year to the day, Booth and Bones will meet at the Reflecting Pool…that will be our premiere.

Program Description: An ex-cop partners with his best friend in an unlicensed private investigation business. The series appears to be set in Ocean Beach, a Community in San Diego, California.
What We Can Expect: The jury is still out on this series. As long as it can separate itself from the other similar shows on cable, it has a chance. Hopefully, the show will have that gritty FX touch that we’ve come to expect in all their new shows. Also, it’s about time Donal Logue finds a good show.
