The Clone Wars Ends After Five-Year Run

Lucasfilm has announced that the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars will not return for a sixth season, thus ending the series after five years on Cartoon Network.

“After five highly successful and critically acclaimed seasons of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, we feel the time has come to wind down the series. While the studio is no longer producing new episodes for Cartoon Network, we’re continuing production on new Clone Wars story arcs that promise to be some of the most thrilling adventures ever seen. Stay tuned for more information on where fans can soon find this bonus content. In the video below, Supervising Director Dave Filoni offers a peek of what is to come in Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

At Star Wars Celebration VI last year, George Lucas gave fans a glimpse at the animated comedy series Star Wars Detours from Seth Green, Matthew Senreich, and Todd Grimes. Detours was conceived and produced before we decided to move forward with the new Star Wars trilogy, and in the wake of that decision, Lucasfilm has reconsidered whether launching an animated comedy prior to the launch of Episode VII makes sense. As a result, we’ve decided to postpone the release of Detours until a later date.

We are incredibly proud of the teams at Lucasfilm Animation for creating some of the most amazing animation ever produced for TV. Keep checking StarWars.com for new developments on these and future projects.”

“I didn’t know you were left-handed,” says Homer Simpson to Ned Flanders, the owner of the Leftorium mall shop for lefty utensils, tools and instruments. Poor Homer is punched in the face (twice!) in this episode of the Simpsons by Flanders’ left fist.

We start off in Lisa Simpson’s classroom. Her teacher Miss Hoover is suffering from a bout of severe depression and substitute teacher Miss Cantwell arrives. At first, Lisa thinks the substitute will be a perfect teacher, but soon discovers that the substitute can’t stand Lisa. The substitute even winds up bullying Lisa.

Once Upon a Time
The Miller’s Daughter

Original Air Date: Mar 10, 2013

Our choices in life are so important. Sometimes we’re driven to decide against our morals, our principles. In these cases, who do we become? How do we live with ourselves? For me? Compartmentalize and soldier on – for Snow? I’m thinking a lot of sulking and crying. Let’s see what choice she’s pushed to make.

In Fairytale (pre-curse), we meet a young miller’s daughter, Cora – in a genius casting move, played by Rose McGowan. A young Princess Eva, inexplicably, trips Cora while she delivers flour. Cora is humiliated when the King demands she kneel and apologize. This is the start of the vendetta against Eva – granted, she brought it on herself (choices folks, choices).

Tonight’s episode begins with Lillie Mae trying to wake up Reba, who apparently slept all night outside on the deck. She finally wakes when Lillie Mae screams in her ear. She drank wine and it put her to sleep, but denies it and hides the bottle before Lillie Mae sees it (or maybe Lillie Mae saw it and that is why she asked about it).

Reba is upset that she took her kids all the way across the country, is trying to restart her career and cannot seem to do that. She had things said about her and even Lillie Mae agrees that the things the entertainment industry says should not be heard by her kids, not to mention more than half of what Lillie Mae says. Let’s see what happens tonight….

This week’s episode of Archer opens with Malory demanding an explanation from Cyril and Lana as to why their latest mission had gone so terribly wrong (like they ever go right). It is revealed that, while watching the Texas/Mexico border for a notorious people smuggler, also known as a ‘coyote’ Archer has embroiled himself and the team in a cross-border battle in an attempt to score some tail.

Will you always stay loyal to the one who cares for you the most?

This episode was well hyped, bringing in former La Femme Nikita director Jon Cassar, and showcasing the titular reunion of Amanda and Nikita. Ari Tasarov’s son, Stefan, is chased and kidnapped by Amanda’s crew, while Nikita and Alex try to protect him. Back at Division, Owen gets fidgety.

This was a decent episode of Nikita. I wish we would’ve gotten more of Amanda, but more history of her and Nikita were teased throughout the episode that could pay off in later episodes. When Nikita asks Ari why Amanda’s hatred is so fierce, he tells her it’s because she spared Amanda’s life back in Moscow, circa season two (episode 18, “Power’). Amanda felt pitied, that Nikita was being self-righteous, and ultimately humiliated that she wasn’t worth killing.

The Contractual Obligation Implementation

Apparently the guys are required by their contract with the University to serve on a committee. Howard is whining, Sheldon is b*tching. And Leonard is advocating the committee to encourage more women to pursue science education and careers. I’m with Howard on this one – are these really the guys to try to convince women to do anything? On the other hand, I like Leonard’s idea of having papers submitted under gender neutral names.

Now if only Howard and Sheldon were willing to do anything other than play xBox.
