George Takei to Guest on Big Bang Theory

takei

According to TV Squad, geek icon George Takei, better known as Star Trek’s Sulu, is making an appearance as himself on an episode of Big Bang Theory scheduled for Oct. 14.

Unfortunately for Sheldon and the rest of the guys, Takei will only be sharing the screen with Wolowitz (Simon Helberg), teaming up with Battlestar Galactica’s Katee Sackhoff as the other part of his conscience. Sackhoff is making her second appearance on the comedy after guest starring in an episode last season.

In the episode, Wolowitz is trying to decide whether or not to get back together with his former girlfriend Bernadette, with Takei and Sackhoff representing opposing view points.

Other guest stars set for this season include computer guru Steve Wozniak, who will pop up on the second episode, and the possible return of Star Trek: TNG actor Wil Wheaton as Sheldon’s nemesis.

Sorry for the lack of recap last week. I had surgery and couldn’t get to it (same reason for the lateness of this one). However, the finale was so good, so GREAT, I’m sitting here all bandaged writing up the review (and waiting for Franco to come take care of me … but that’s a long ways off!).

Last week was a gateway episode to this week. Lou’s doctor told him he HAD to stop working because his heart is only working at around 50%, Sean and Mike decided to get the FDNY to name something after Pat, Janet forgave Tommy for what happened with Sheila, Sheila was happy with Mickey who was THISCLOSE to getting Damian to quit, Damian quit but then unquit the squad (thanks to seeing Jimmy’s badge and feeling the need to fill his father’s shoes), and then … the moment … at a big fire, Lou was trapped under a stack of coffins (they were called to a fire at a coffin warehouse) and Damian when Damian went to call the squad out of the building, the roof collapses on him.

This week, it is all about Annie. It starts out with Annie in a warehouse being arrested and a dead lady lying in front of her. Annie is a bit groggy and not quite herself. So ,who is our agent that sits down to question Annie? The same dude from episode 2, where she pretended to be a call girl and was caught with Auggie in the morgue. He wants to know who she is and what happened, but our girl Friday isn’t talking. So in walks Joan saying she is the lawyer…man these people lie like crazy! She tells Annie to start at the beginning and tell everything she knows. Here is her story:

This week we have our Summer season finale! I am becoming more enamored of Tim Roth every week. I’ve been a fan of his ever since Four Rooms. He certainly doesn’t disappoint in this episode, that’s for sure! It’s great too, because Emily is involved in the whole episode. Even Loker has important things to do.

Let’s not waste any more time, off we go…

Welcome to the second half of Parent’s Weekend at Camp Victory. Tonight we have romance, heartbreak and an awesome musical performance from Will, Ian and Trent. There’s even a little mystery with Alistair and a lost necklace. I’m sad to see the show go for the fall, but it will be back in January for the second half of season one.

What do you say we jump right in? The water is fine…
