We’re starting on a new step of acceptance: frivolous spending! After a lifetime of clipping coupons and thrifty shopping, Cathy cashes out her 401(k) against her accountant’s advice.
Paul is playing rugby when Cathy comes to pick up Adam. She tries to stop Paul because she says he’s fragile, but Paul says she can’t kick him out of the house AND tell him what to do. In the crowd at the game is a girl from Cathy’s high school they called “Rugby Slut”, tells Cathy she likes her car, except that it’s a “Mom-Car”.

Ok. Now we have the real season finale. The weird schedule threw me for a loop. This was a great episode to end the season with, because it’s sets up the exit of Mekhi Phifer and the FBI. It’s also a great Cal/Emily episode.
Lots to cover, so let’s get to it.
Climb the hill and see what life has to bring you tonight on the CW!

It’s Senior Year at West Bev! The theme of this episode (and we know it’s the theme because Annie says it out loud eleventeen times) is aftershocks, as each character grapples with the aftermath of various metaphorical (and actual) earthquakes.
Annie’s Back
Within 3 seconds, the show dispenses with last year’s Big Secret. Annie exposits that she came clean about her hit and run, spent all summer on house arrest, and will be on probation until she’s 25. Well, okay then… It feels a bit clumsy, but I’m okay with it, since I prefer happy Annie to the dark cloud of angst Annie we had last season.
In sad, but not unexpected news, TBS has pulled the plug on My Boys according to EW’s Michael Aussielo.
“Hope you enjoyed the fourth season finale of My Boys, because it turns out, that was the last episode you’re ever gonna get: According to my sources, TBS has broken up with the romcom.
“For series lead Jordana Spiro, this could be good news. You’ll recall that she was forced to give up a role on NBC’s upcoming Love Bites due to Boys’ uncertain future. Now, theoretically, she could reclaim that lost part. I’ll keep you posted.”
I’ll cherish this show for allowing a female character to hang with the guys, enjoy sports, and not be an stereotypical “single gal” lead.
But most of all, I’ll miss the stellar cast. Jim Gaffigan, Jamie Kaler, Michael Bunin, Kyle Howard, and Reid Scott…these were the Boys you felt you could really relate to!
We’ll miss you at Crowley’s!
My Boys fans, was the show given a proper send-off during the last episode? Sad or surprised by the cancellation?

It’s season finale time on True Blood! In an episode that was set up to deliver some big payoffs—the DEA raid! Sookie is vampire crack! Eric and Russell are dying!—I thought it was surprisingly lackluster. Despite a sort-of murder, three actual murders, a proposal, a departure, and a big fat question mark hanging over the fate of Sookie Stackhouse, I found myself feeling sort of “meh.”

TBS’s girl, beer, and boys comedy came to a season end last night after too short of a return. Was this the season or series finale? Only time will tell, but let’s take a moment to reflect and enjoy.
And wow (!) what a lot to reflect on. Seemingly everyone made a life changing decision in these last two episodes. So keep reading to find out who’s is going across the pond, who is staying put, who’s got a new business, and who is (GULP) married…

Rubicon has made a point of depicting the office settings as being as dry and sterile as possible to create a strong contrast between the way that the analyst community lives and works and the much messier (perceived) lives of the field agents their work directs. This week Miles and Tonya come into contact firsthand with the real-world ramifications of their jobs when they are flown to a secret location somewhere in the middle east to assist in the “enhanced interrogation” of a suspect in the terror syndicate they have been monitoring.

The past few weeks of Entourage have been leading up to this: Vince finally going all out nuts. With a guest cast a mile long, a surprise party, bags of coke, bottles of (and the battle for…) tequila, Sasha’s porn … what more could an Entourage fan ask for?
I’m most curious to see how they will handle Scott Caan’s situation (his new show, Hawaii Five-O, premieres next week). Can he do both? (This reviewer hopes so!) He has come so far with the guys. But for now, let’s just see how this season ends. Remember, we’ve only got one shortened season and a movie left with our boys! :TEAR:
